This was always likely to happen and is very dumb because the photos and documents are held by many folk in many departments, the estate, etc. Trump's DOJ falsifying documents, deleting files, etc, will be the Dems wet dream.

Blanche says all Trump material in Epstein files will be released

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said Sunday that all material featuring President Trump in files linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein will be released.

“The White House has said that President Trump is included in the files. Can you guarantee that every mention and every photo of President Trump in the Epstein files will be released?” NBC News’s Kristen Welker asked Blanche on “Meet the Press.”

“Yes, yes, I’ve said it three, four times now, we’ve said it before, and President Trump has said it repeatedly since before he was elected. And since he was elected, all summer long, he said the same thing, ‘I have nothing to hide,’” Blanche said

“And so, of course, that’s the case. But, let me just make sure everybody understands something, to the extent that he is, quote, ‘in the Epstein files,’ it’s not because he had anything to do with the horrific crimes, full stop. But yes, if President Trump is mentioned, if there’s photographs that we have of President Trump or anybody else, they, of course, will be released, with the exception of any victims or survivors that we’ve identified,” he added.

In the last few months, the Trump administration has faced scrutiny over its handling of files linked to Epstein from both sides of the aisle, as well as the president’s relationship with the disgraced financier.

& Trumps "deleted" picture has returned... From CNN: Live updates: Trump administration and Epstein files release news | CNN Politics

The Justice Department says a photograph containing an image of President Donald Trump that was removed from its Epstein files library has been restored to the online database.
The image shows a desk drawer with several photographs, including one that shows Trump, Jeffrey Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell, and others. It was released late Friday as part of the Justice Department’s dump of documents related to Epstein.
The image disappeared from the website Saturday. In a statement posted to X on Sunday, the Justice Department said it was removed while the agency ascertained whether more needed to be redacted to protect victims.
“The Southern District of New York flagged an image of President Trump for potential further action to protect victims. Out of an abundance of caution, the Department of Justice temporarily removed the image for further review,” the statement read.
“After the review, it was determined there is no evidence that any Epstein victims are depicted in the photograph, and it has been reposted without any alteration or redaction,” it went on.

My bold, wondering if Trump is the "victim" the DOJ wants to protect.

Schumer to ask Senate to back legal action over partial Epstein files release

The Senate Democratic leader, Chuck Schumer, announced on Monday he will introduce a resolution directing the Senate to take legal action against the justice department over its incomplete release of files related to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

“I am introducing a resolution directing the Senate to initiate legal action against DoJ for its blatant disregard of the law in its refusal to release the complete Epstein files,” Schumer said in a statement on social media. “The American people deserve full transparency, and Senate Democrats will use every tool at our disposal to ensure they get it. This administration cannot be allowed to hide the truth.”

If passed, the resolution would authorize the Senate to file a lawsuit seeking a court order forcing the justice department to release the complete set of documents.

Justice Department releases huge new set of documents, photos

What to know about the latest Epstein files release:

The Justice Department early Tuesday morning released thousands of new documents from the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Over 11,000 files are in the latest release, including more photos, court records, FBI and DOJ documents, emails, news clippings and videos.

Epstein Files Transparency Act required the DOJ to produce its files on Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell by Dec. 19, but DOJ said the volume of material meant they would need to be released on a rolling basis to redact information about survivors.

The department uploaded the latest batch to the online DOJ repository, where they can be accessed in "Data Set 8." CBS News is also maintaining a searchable database of all of the files here.

The first batch of files released Friday mostly consisted of thousands of Epstein's personal photographs, some of which showed prominent figures. Another group of files released Saturday included grand jury transcripts.

CBS News has a team of journalists examining the latest Epstein files release and will highlight notable discoveries below.

    3:07 AM
Latest release includes over 11,000 files
The Justice Department's newest release of files on Epstein appears to be its largest to date, with upwards of 11,000 files, many of which are multiple pages.

The release includes court records, emails, photos, news clippings, spreadsheets, audio and hundreds of video files.

President Trump is mentioned several times, though many of those instances are in news clippings that were shared among DOJ employees.

The data set also appears to include FBI documents, internal Justice Department communications, court subpoenas, other legal documents and records related to Epstein's 2019 death in federal custody, according to an initial review by CBS News.

Epstein files: Jeffrey Epstein's brother told FBI 'President Trump authorized [his] murder'

A new document in the Jeffrey Epstein files shows that his brother Mark, who has long been public in his belief that his sibling was murdered, once tried to tell the FBI about his hunch - and also brought Donald Trump into the conversation.

On Tuesday, the Department of Justice released a new batch of Epstein files, including Mark Epstein's tip from Feb. 22, 2023. In it, Mark said Trump okayed his brother's killing.

"Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in his jail cell," the tip says. "I have reason to believe he was killed because he was about to name names. I believe Presient [sic] Trump authorized is [sic] murder."

There has never been any evidence linking Trump to Epstein's death - which was ruled a suicide, not a murder, by New York City's chief medical examiner.

It's unclear if the FBI interviewed Mark after he made this claim.

The Epstein files first became available to the public on Dec. 19, after Trump signed off on their release in November via a bipartisan bill called the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

When releasing the new collection of files on Tuesday, the DOJ issued a statement, seemingly attempting to absolve Trump of any wrongdoing.

"Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already."

For months, the Trump administration has stalled the release of the files, and Trump has repeatedly denied his involvement in Epstein's crimes. The president is mentioned several times in the new batch of files.

According to Time, the references consist of a rape allegation and correspondence that says Trump used Epstein's private jet "many more times than previously had been reported," among other notable inclusions.

Epstein's death was ruled a suicide by hanging after he was discovered in his Manhattan jail cell on Aug. 10, 2019, just a month after being arrested on sex trafficking charges.

Is it just me? Epstein is in the distant past. These Epstein files are great for the press but is there much here beyond a bit of salaciousness? It feels a bit like 'Hunter Biden's laptop' revisited, by the other side. Distracting from the main business of government, ultimately not telling us much we don't know about rich men behaving badly.

A huge part of this is, of course, the involvement of Trump.

Doss anyone believe that after all of these pictures of Trump with Epstein surrounded by kids that he merely went home and had a tug with his tweezers?

I'm not sure many people consider the rape of 14 year-olds to be merely 'a bit of solaciousness' and 'men behaving badly'.

I agree with Cyrille on this. It was a huge rape gang of the rich that went on over many years, cross-party - it's pretty obvious Trump did take part in at the very least kissing and groping 14 year old girls; very likley to be much more than that. These men, who thought they were too powerful and can never be caught, should be brought to justice, imho (which means full trials and prison). We had similar in the UK with child sex rings involving MPs, and other "elites" which was never fully dealt with; numerous cover ups, and this can't keep being allowed to happen.

I'd support that. All we need is, well, a lot more than we've got. I'm not in any way sanctioning their bahaviour. Criminal prosecutions are difficult. I'm not holding my breath.

^ &, you basically have both sides of the aisle involved with plenty trying to cover it up (never mind the Bill Gates sorts). You've also got the issue that the CIA/Mossad were possible involved, so there's even more layeers to get through...

But, it was the idiot Trump that forced this as a issue to his base during the election trail, and it's being clearly seen that Bondi, her no.2 (Trump's personal defence lawyer in the Stormy Daniels case - you couldn't make this tuff up...) and Cash Patel have desperately been trying to cover it up, so hopefully it brings Trump down or at the very least massively damages him coming upto the midterms. Then the Dems will go to town with indictments, and rightly so, imho. The abuses conducted by "King" (manchild) Trump and this administration have been the worst I've seen in my lifetime.

The Memo: Latest Jeffrey Epstein files hit Trump harder

President Trump is grappling with a new disclosure of Jeffrey Epstein-related material that hit him much harder than the initial batch of documents released last week.

The new tranche of almost 30,000 items released late on Monday was worse for Trump in part simply because the president’s name was mentioned more frequently.

But the second round of disclosures also raised new questions about a Trump narrative that has tended to play down the president’s association with the disgraced financier and sexual predator, who died of an apparent suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial.

Trump has never been accused by law enforcement of criminal acts relating to Epstein, and he vigorously denies any wrongdoing. His previous friendship with Epstein is a matter of public record but appears to have ended around 2004. Different explanations have been given about the exact reason for their estrangement.

Skeptics will wonder about the timing of the new release, which the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced as public attention in politics ebbs and the holiday season hits its peak.

When the first batch of material emerged amid a higher level of expectation, there was little mention of Trump. In that instance, White House officials instead emphasized several photographs of former President Clinton.

A Clinton spokesperson on Monday called for the full release of all the Epstein files, saying in part: “Someone or something is being protected. … We need no such protection.”

Perhaps the single most intriguing item relating to Trump to emerge in the second round of disclosures was an email from 2020. The email, apparently sent by a federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York, warned an unnamed recipient about the frequency with which Trump had traveled on Epstein’s private jet in the 1990s.

“The flight records we received yesterday reflect that Donald Trump traveled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware),” wrote the assistant U.S. attorney, whose name has been redacted.

The same email referenced one flight on which Trump and Epstein were the only passengers, and another where the only listed passengers were the two men and a “then-20-year-old” whose name has also been redacted.

Trump’s defenders note this is not incriminating in itself, nor does it add anything substantively new to the public’s knowledge, in part because more has been learnt about the Epstein flight logs between 2020 and now.

But questions are nonetheless raised by the email’s reference to the two men traveling with an anonymized 20-year-old, and the reminder that the flights were more frequent than Trump had once indicated.

Those were not the only disclosures to raise eyebrows.

Another was a subpoena sent to Mar-a-Lago in 2021 in relation to the case against Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell was ultimately found guilty on sex trafficking charges and sentenced to 20 years in prison. The subpoena provided almost no further specific information.

Investigators in a separate matter appear to have found a photo of Trump and Maxwell on a phone belonging to Steve Bannon in 2021, according to another email from the latest batch of documents.

The DOJ sought to blunt the impact of the new release. In a posting on the social platform X, the department asserted that “some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump,” and implied that some false accusations had been made in the hope of influencing the 2020 presidential election.

The DOJ’s post continued: “To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”

The controversy deepened on Tuesday afternoon when the DOJ said a potentially explosive letter, ostensibly from Epstein to the infamous pedophile Larry Nassar, was “FAKE.”

The letter, which included the suggestion that Trump “shares our love for young, nubile girls,” caused an instant firestorm on social media.

But the DOJ gave its reasons for believing the letter was a hoax, saying that the handwriting did not match Epstein’s; that it was postmarked in northern Virginia three days after Epstein’s death in New York; and that the return address neither listed Epstein’s jail nor included his inmate number which, per the DOJ, “is required for outgoing mail.”

As of early Friday evening, Trump had not commented directly on the new disclosures, and the statements from the Department of Justice appeared to be the main prongs of the administration’s response.

On Monday, Trump offered a somewhat surprising quasi-defense of Clinton in relation to the photos that had emerged in the previous batch of material.

“I don’t like the photos of Bill Clinton being shown,” Trump said, before expanding on his point by saying that other people who merely were socially acquainted with Epstein were having their reputations tarnished.

“You probably have pictures being exposed of other people that innocently met Jeffrey Epstein years ago,” Trump said.

Trump also contended on Monday that the media’s focus on Epstein was intended to “deflect from the tremendous success” of the GOP.

But questions are mounting along with the disclosures.

On Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y) raised the issue of why the new documents alluded to 10 alleged co-conspirators of Epstein, yet these people had not been identified or charged.

There are plenty more disclosures to come before all the material on Epstein is released.

Trump may face further uncomfortable moments.

Rape allegations are never good, and the limo drivers description of Trump's phone call withEpstein about abusing a young girl isn't very good either... Have a look for yourself:

The first tripwire is if the orange turd can block the midterms.
If they go ahead, I bet people will vote based on the economy above all the other, many, lumps of Trumpcrap littering this presidency.
The Dems would do well to focus on this issue, IMHO.
The whole Epstein business is despicable but do you see this FBI and this DOJ bringing prosecutions? It is a sideshow and while Dems and any decent minded folk should keep the pressure on here they should also focus on the issues that affect the voters directly.
    Just my perspective.

The Trump administration and the last five UK Govts demonstrate for the (mainly idiot population) voters that governments are a sham, like religions that they replaced are merely there to serve the ones in power.

    ^ & ^^ True and true.

Trump & Epstein are two peas from the same pod, and Trump should be in prison without parole. But, most voters will be thinking about cost of living and their personal hardship for the midterms, so yes, the Dems should focus upon it. At the same time, the Epstein mass sexual abuses and rapes are real, and the hundreds of victims should be supported (you're right the DOJ and FBI under various governments over many years have shown little or no interest of getting into this muck).

UK politics is utterly useless - I can't think of a single decent politician in decades. When politicians can be bought, and there are so many revolving doors before, sometimes during and after political careers, it does seem only about the money and self-interest. I've told the story before, but when my brother worked in a City stockbrokers when the government was writing a bill to protect "the people" from banks/bad investments/financial abuses, etc, a senior member from his firm was called in to vet the document and put in the appropriate loop holes. Now imagine this happening in every government department all of the time, and you have UK politics. No great surprise that the politicians and their corporate friends get richer while the middle and working classes get decimated... I think I'll move to the third world (well, maybe second world...) to get away from the bs.
