They are offering that on the NHS for over 65's. You might want to get the shingles vaccine too

Well and truly hacked off at the moment. I'm way too old to be going against the flow. Circumstances are against me teaching my favourite student.

I think instant should labelled Ersatz, 'MOCK COFFEE'

I have drunk black strong ground coffee 50 years, but aside from holidays night driving in the deserted Omani/Australian/American deserts just a doppio espesso equivalent befoe and after brekkie,I'm still a dopey old duffer, somtimes have a lapsang and biscuit tiffin twixt lunch and dinner.

I like cream in seafood bisque, gateau or raspberries but feel milk sugar cream hide the taste, which the odd emergency 7-11 Birdy etc is necessary,I don't think I've had an instant coffee since watching Bob Marley and staying up al night for phase 2!

Well. Funny old world. Turns out it was not side effects from the vaccine. It was full blown pneumonia. Now in the respiratory care unit of the hospital.

Jeepers, you’re not having a good run. Have you got someone to look after the boy?

    Take care of yourself.

    Damn. Get well soon.

Have seen this pop up over the last few years with various TD posters.

Without getting too personal, is the Thai SSO able to adequately take care of the immediate treatment? Or wanted/needed to use private insurance.

Edith took a serious, and quick turn for the worse maybe 3-4 years ago (not PN), one of the main (good hospitals) took care of everything immediately, I think was in there for maybe 3 nights, the bill was around 120k of which she only had to pay around 7k for whatever medicine/treatment the SSO didn't cover.

^ Heh. Thank you for not mentioning porridge.

Did I ever mention that my ex-wife accelerated into a brick wall while I was teaching her how to drive ? I was in the passenger seat, and this, combined with it being my car, made it like a nightmare.

It died slowly over the next 6 months as (I later realized) a baffle in the radiator had become dislodged from the very hard impact, and the front cross member took all of the force, transmitting the shock overall.

The cross member hit a concrete barrier underneath much more than the front of the car hit the wall itself...but still, it was a real testicle-retracting experience.

Winter kept it from overheating too much and I just couldn't figure out what was wrong. As soon as Summer started, it overheated big-time and died.

She never paid me a cent for it. My belated daily moan.

Nor should she have to. A) you should have had insurance. B) driving it until summer without it getting looked at was negligent. So the fault lies with you, not her.

    Bin Juice!

Putting out the bins for collection tomorrow. Moving the main bin outside the backdoor in me bare feet before taking it out to the front gate. It obviously has a big crack/hole in the bottom as me feet and tootsies are now covered in bin juice. Icky, sticky, revolting bin juice.

Fuxin' stinky, rotting, oily immune-to-shower-gel, disgusting bin juice.
