End of Day 1 and England somehow clawed their way to 267.
Then Pakistan lost 3 wickets for just 73 runs.
This is more of a contest than I thought it might be at lunch today.

Livingstone's acceleration in the latter part of the innings was unbelievable. He reached to the fifty in 60 balls and then took only 17 balls more to bring up his first ODI hundred, showcasing his ability to score quickly and under pressure. The right-hand batter whacked five boundaries and nine sixes for his 85-ball 124.

Couple more quick wickets needed at MCG.

They haven't got T head to bail them out. At least Eng can say they fielded half a new team in their capitultions Smith has been off the boil for a couple of years and Labusc is trying to bat down his average in both white ball and red.

the last few weeks have reinvigorated cricket. It’s good seeing the big three humbled. Opens it all up.
