End of Day 1 and England somehow clawed their way to 267.
Then Pakistan lost 3 wickets for just 73 runs.
This is more of a contest than I thought it might be at lunch today.

Nasser launching into Jack Leach in the after-match analysis was pretty weird.
We wereagainst two bowlers who exploited home advantage to the max.
This should be a great shot in the arm for test cricket in Pakistan, anyway.
5 test series are the way to go though.
The end of Bazball?

Next stop NZ on November 28th.
Also three tests.
329 to win, bit stiff unlike our Dill who's never recovered from sharing his 3 sweaty cambo buffers![]()
12 off 4 balls and Jacks fuks up yet again by trying to clear the ropes. Idiotic batting but that was the story of the first games. Rinse and repeat?
Cox thinks he's trying out for the Test squad. Actually Eng selectors have fukd up imo. Too many T20 and Hundred players, dropping Root is a mistake, we need a couple of player who can accumulate and or rebuild.
Cox bounced out like a child for 4 runs off 19 balls. What a twat. Bye bye.
England won relatively comfortably thanks to a Livingstone ton and a Curran 50.
Used nine bowlers.
Decider early hours of Thursday Thailand time.
I wish I'd watched it now.
Livingstone's acceleration in the latter part of the innings was unbelievable. He reached to the fifty in 60 balls and then took only 17 balls more to bring up his first ODI hundred, showcasing his ability to score quickly and under pressure. The right-hand batter whacked five boundaries and nine sixes for his 85-ball 124.
Couple more quick wickets needed at MCG.![]()
Well this is a shitshow.
34/4 and not even three runs an over.
Well this strip was considered a batters paradise at the start of play.
Then, while Australia were getting out for 164, the Aussie commentators decided there was a lot of bounce in it and no little swing.
It's looking pretty reliable again now, with Pakistan on 90-0 after 15 overs.![]()
They haven't got T head to bail them out. At least Eng can say they fielded half a new team in their capitultionsSmith has been off the boil for a couple of years and Labusc is trying to bat down his average in both white ball and red.
Dear Pommies, Kiwis just beat India 3-Zip...In India.
T20 WIndies vs England starts at 03:00 Thailand time.
Hopefully we won't be as poor as we were in the ODIs
Trescothick described that series as 'A free hit' before McCullum takes over.
Banger needs to be fired.
So, a right thumping for the Aussies, beaten by eight wickets in twenty five overs.
