I’m going to take a stab in the dark and say roast pork, spuds, carrots, a Yorkie with gravy and apple sauce.

Oh hang on, he’s not talking about food, they’re from England. That’s a shadow! Happens when the sun is out!

I like that despite having a full drink already you have the second one lined up ready and waiting.

I had a salad with doner meat. So basically a kebab without the bread bit.

Fried pork and icy Thai lager. Not bad, Sir.

Slow cooked beef cheeks. Not a cheap cut anymore. I cut these bad boys in half due to size.

    Dinner-img_5756-jpeg

Sear on each side, deglaze the pot and add the usual base.

    Dinner-img_5757-jpeg

Add a cup of broth, 2 cups of red wine, herbs (thyme & rosemary) and then simmer for 2-3 hours.

    A peppery gravy.

Dryair fried pork cop and green beans.

    Not bad.

^Nice little gravy lake landscape presentation Joe. I should have bought green beans for my lamb chops. That has just made me think. I only bought carrots and peas.

Invitation to farting squirting lady's for dinner. She has got a beach view but it is not Legsy territory.

Pistachios and 2021 Barossa Valley Shiraz for aperitif.

Chicken in garlic with some kind of creamy coconut potato bake with a side of olive salad. She knows how to put on a spread.

Lemon Myrtle tea using freshly picked leaves from her friend's garden.

I was able to woo her serenading on her own guitar after dinner before the dirty dogging commenced. The block of units opposite got a good view of the sofa through those see-through curtains after dark.

I am getting a taste for this performative procreation. My first hat-trick 3-shot evening in quite some time.

A stroll along the waterfront after I cleared off in the wee hours since the rain-clouds had made for the first warm strollable night in ages.

Last night I transformed a lovely piece of Korat Chef Atlantic haddock...

    Into this...

(I enforce a strict 'no devices at the table' rule... unless the cricket is on. I really hope that England win to make this worthwhile because I've lost the moral high ground forever)

Cricket and fish an' chips... a typical summers day in Old Blighty!

I used to love kedgeree, my mum made it a lot when I were a kid.

Smoked haddock, hard boiled egg, peas and of course rice, of which we have loads.

I need to get a decent recipe and I'll give it a go.
