Old man's meatballs and spuds on the meals on wheels drop from Senorita. HP sauce is the go with these meatballs

Today's oldies had a choice of fish with sweet potato or meatballs with normal tatties so she brought me both. I will have the fish tomorrow.

The purple tub contains fruit salad with yoghurt and.... cheese

Home made by Senorita and not from the oldies kitchen

Never heard of such a concoction before but it is curiously appetising

I thought I should garnish my fish with some kind of sauce and cracked onto the idea of a few spoons of broth dregs.

The Nike Hercules was a crazy US inter-continental ballistic missile interceptor solution from before the days of targetted missile interception.

Instead of targeting individual Soviet warheads it was instead fired into the atmosphere as incoming warhead swarms were detected where its W31 warhead nuclear payload would detonate taking out multiple incoming warheads in one carpet-bomb style swoop.

Waygu sirloin, tenderloin, hamburger and fish on a hot plate.

I recently had dinner on Great Yarmouth seafront and this was the view from the restaurant.



It's not the most attractive of places to be honest, but is it really necessary to stick a wind farm just off a seaside resort?

Although I did enjoy watching one of the service vessels sail past.



Sea trout topped with local crab, and very nice it was too... a bit stingy on the peas but they were there, underneath the sauce.



And afterwards a detour past the docks for a closer look. Norwegian vessels servicing UK wind farms...



And day 2... it had to be fish an' chips. They even served it on imitation newspaper for the full experience.

Again, a little stingy on the peas imho...

I had the very last box tonight while watching Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. I had frozen them as there was too many to get through in one run.

This was chicken in quite a tasty lemon pepper sauce with roast potatoes. Those rest-home old-folks are doing alright. I might retire there.

Rainy Sunday innit. Just waiting for The A-Team to come on.
