I baked a nice quiche yesterday to free me up for other stuff today.

Went well with a tomato salad.



The daughter didn't want any peas tonight - I hope she's not going down with something - so a double portion for me! A big win, just like England will enjoy very soon!

Dried fried shallots are a top time-and-effort-saving Asian kitchen hack I discoverd so I will add them to my short-cut arsenal on my next visit to the Asian grocery

The Indo spicy red sauce is excellent. Like a kind of Tabasco flavoured tomato sauce. Highly recommended for dipping your pork balls in if you are feeling adventurous.


Jasmine tea for digestiv. Senorita can cause the tea basket to levitate out of the pot using her focused thought beam.

Home made moon-biscuits tasted like light buttery shortbread to dip in the tea. Senorita's Timorese flatmate used a wine glass to cut the half-crescents

And a fruit platterette to round off on a healthy note.
