Could be something for BLD to do for the boys
Trim off a load of chicken breasts.
Into flour. Into beaten eggs. Into seasoned breadcrumbs. Into hot oil.
Can stick them into the deep freeze, and then 30 mins or so in an oven and they're done.
Good for anything really.
With mash and gravy.
With a ragu or pesto pasta.
As a breast in a bun with burger buns mayo and lettuce.
With a sachet of Japanese curry and rice.
With french fries.
Parmigiano with a ragu sauce and cheese on top and grilled.
With just about anything, really.
And which kids don't like fried chicken breast in breadcrumbs.
I may even try it myself. Just a variation on my fishcake theme really.
Our Chicken Burgers are basically a straight up rip off from one I had in Brewdog many years ago.
Debone a chicken thigh, into flour with added paprika, beaten eggs, crushed up cornflakes then into the frier.
Served with a blue cheese sauce.
Very nice.

Lang may yer lum reek...
Send me down the gardener + Dirk, Mendo.
Cheaper with he gardener mate.
The Monks have declared we are not allowed to drill until 9am on the 6th so you'd have to pony up a fair lump to prise me away from this cooshtie number.
They say that every pie tells a story. This one sits in the fridge right now.
This pie tells a story of being taken out of the convection oven, baking hot, having 12 candles inserted into the molten pastry for my lovely daughter's family birthday dinner, and having each and every candle melt into the pastry before I could light the b@stards.
I gave up on the Saturday night birthday meal and we just had mash with peas. But I was really pissed off.
No-one told me that candles melt into birthday pies.
The whole family was there to blow them out as well... apart from the Kommandant of course.
But anyway, a birthday is only one day and life goes on.
Since then we've gone American with 'Mac and cheese'...
Nice...
And tonight, Italian with a genuine carbonara...
Nice...
