    For me, shrimp scampi (with some crab claw meat) over rice with french green beans done in a bit of butter and Italian dressing garnished with bacon.

    Still have issues with uploading pictures....

    I was wrong, the food was excellent:
    Pla Nin in salt crust grilled to perfection, a not too spicy Tom Yum Turtle, a very spicy hot & sour soup with turtle again, grilled chicken and pork bits followed and steamed garden veges. With a choice of Kao Neow or Kao Suay.
    The only complaint I have is that the JWB I brought was gone quickly, flushed down like cheap liquor.

    Scunthorpe SKkinny Tikki Masala

    Started with these items plus a few other things. This jar is probably the Prego of Tikki Masala I'm guessing...but hey, it was a gift.

    Put the chicken, some grated fresh ginger, two smashed cloves of garlic, kosher salt, some lemon pepper and garlic pepper seasoning, a few squirts of lemon juice, a splash or three of soy sauce, a drop or two of worcestershire sauce, some sesame seed oil and just a few crushed red pepper flakes in the freezer bag in the morning. Let that mix sit in the fridge all day until time to cook. Decided to go with the two small squares of the Ghirardelli dark chocalate with cashew bits and sea salt instead of the tiny Tobelrones. Save those for eating alone.



    Pan fried the chicken and onions for 5 minutes before adding the sauce.

    Cooking the Masala prior to adding the chocolate:



    After adding the chocolate...made it a shade darker. After this covered with lid and let it simmer for another 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.



    Meanwhile stir-fried some veggies separately. Yup, still no proper wok. I hate going shopping. Not ordering one online either...



    Plated masala and veggies side by side on a bed of brown rice.



    Again not that photogenic...but very tasty. Plus the fact I'm not that good at picture taking(or food presentation) probably doesn't help.

    Even though it said mild(1 pepper pic) on the Masala jar it was a bit spicy for the grandson and wife. I loved it. Will definitely have it again. Maybe look into making my own masala sauce even[said in Snaggletooth accent].

    Ok I'm ready for the abuse to begin.
