Mate .... They are not really roast potatoes. Sprinkle a bit of thyme on them at least to take away the mass production sterilised factory taste 55555
Lamb looks tasty. Meal for one?
Fed six with that as well as the dog, baby new potatoes, snap peas, green beans,Yorkshire puddings, carrots, broccoli, grany made from the veggie juices, mint sauce and fake mass produced Aunt Bessies roast potatoes cooked in goose fat at the factory.
Hhmm time for desert, not enough lamb...

I am surprised you did not feed sixty judging by the amount of meat on that plate. You tight bastard !![]()
Look at that lonely-looking quarter of a carrot. As incongruous as something homemade in a Chitty special.
Mind you, at least it's in no danger of drowning in gravy; the whole thing looks drier than Ghandi's flip-flop.![]()
Every penny is a prisoner. Nowt wrong with that if you have to feed that many on a tight budget and no idea how to cook![]()
^Exactly. I like his heavy handed use of garlic in that roast lamb and the meat looks juicy on the plate, though overcooked a little for my liking and it needs more gravy!. But he's given it a good go and posted pics so it's a green from me, and a timely reminder to buy a lamb leg/shoulder/shanks and do something similar this week.
An afternoon snack while watching the Cricket,
Then out for dinner with CCC's lamb post above having an influence on the fare,
And some fried ice cream to finish off.

I like the fact that he actually cooks. Sure he could ditch the roast potatoes - if he wanted something potatoey and roasted bu quick, Pommes Anna might be his saving grace. DrBob will be along shortly to tell me I don't know what Pomme Anna is which is what usually happens when I mention potatoes. Is that kunt dead yet?

Don't know if old DrBob is still with us....
Have only heard from him once in several months [up to a year]....mentioning briefly about his looming divorce - bit of a surprise.
Not a peep since.
Can't imagine why he would have any such desire to return to this version of TD.
A Scotch egg to finish off![]()
Aunt Bessie's Duck Fat Roast Potatoes 700g - £2.75
2.5 kilo of Maris Piper £2
300g goose fat - £2.50.
So to make 700g of goose fat roasted potatoes it would cost £1.26 and most of the goose fat would be still usable afterwards so cheaper still. But alas, making them yourself you miss out on these great goodies.
Potatoes (92%), Duck Fat (3%), Sunflower Oil, Rice Flour, Dextrin, Potato Starch, Salt, Flavouring, Dextrose, Colour: Caramel, Natural Flavouring

Satay Moo from Wunda, near the river in Nan city. This is two large servings and is my equal favourite go-to second meal. (We only have breakfast and then a mid-afternoon second meal atm.) 100 baht. The satay sauce can be a little variable, today a bit runny. Can vary in spice level as well. Bliss for me is thick and chilli hot.

Made this last week but fucked the crackling up by going hot oven then medium oven, instead of the other way around. Got it right this time, pork belly on mash with honey carrots.

Haven't got round to it yet I should start sobering up tomorrow![]()
Hmmm.
Been training the Main Mrs in making curries.
Would be rude not to eat it.
Not so rude to suggest a liter of icy cold beer to accompany it.![]()

^ does her family farm rice and pepper?
Ive just had a chicken tikka special. It was a brown colour instead of the normally orangey hue and was more like a fukkin tindaloo than a tikka.
I left most of it, the Thai waitress came over pointed at it, so I told her too spi-seee, ped maak.
Then she asked if i'd like a doggy bag.
Deep breaths, count to 10, check bin
