Honestly, I didn't catch that part of the lecture. She did talk about it though. That and the crumb scraper threw all of us foreign teachers.

Table crumbers weren't used until the late 1930s. Post Downton. Before that a brush did the job. Also, Ovaltine? Seriously?

I was along for the ride....

They also gave the 150 young ladies a nice, strong, freshly brewed cup of coffee, just before sending them back to school. I thought it was a kind gesture.

That's not nice. I think that SP has shown tons of great food in his travels, and we need to keep in mind the places he stays in don't have kitchens, as most upscale hotel rooms lack that amenity.

From what I have read in the local FB and Faggot Visa pages it is over priced.

250 baht for a whole chicken with salad, expensive?

They give you a wet towel and some water melon free too.

Although, it is Pattaya. I dunno how any fucker makes any money on food there

because most punters pay the extra and has a BJ whilst the chicken is being wrapped up. You didn't think those wet towels were for your face eh?

Valid point, the consumer is the winner big time. Spoilt for choice and if it isn't good or is over priced, the resto has a life expectancy of a few months.
