Out for a BBQ yesterday and if there's one thing Koreans do well, it's meat. The Hanwoo is the Korean version of the more famous Japanese Wagyu. And it's a bit good.
Pork neck on the go with the sirloin in the background.
I prefer the Thai kor moo yang when it comes to pork neck, but there's no comparison when it comes to beef. Look at the marbling on this bad boy:
Just over 20 quid (1,000 baht) for that piece. Ooof!
Finished with some marinated pork ribs.
Made a lettuce butty as well.
94,000 won in total, so about 3,000 baht/60 quid all in. Aside from the pork neck, the quality of the local meat in Thailand or Malaysia doesn't even come close.
^ Nice gear that.
BTW ... where is Dickie?
Must be time for some great Nip food.
Yeah, you pay for it over here, but it's worth it.
Where is Dicky? Now that's a man who knows his meat. Ooo err!
Spicy Beef Spaget-eeeeeeee 109 baht. Washed down with a 55 baht "cappuccino"
