    Bought a couple of pork chops for tonight to use some of that shake n bake up

    a Farang Master Butcher.; is this where you go HW?






    Shes having fish instead so the other is mine tomorrow. Bwahahaha



    Butter and oil in the pan




    A light brush of mayo



    Doesnt stick to mayo very well that shake n bake





    Into the oven for 10 mins to get rid of any pink inside



    Plate it up with a Mao ping spud and some apple sauce and jobs a goodun


    The black bits were the best part

    I had the same tonight, but minus the shake n bake and spud.

    Watery soup with baby corn, carrots and half a Knorr Tom Judd cube instead.

    Can be seen as a bit strange.

    People usually do it with turkey.

    Mainly done as the fat rich coating locks in the moisture, and also helps form a crust.

    Irish Smoked Salmon, fresh bread and Kerrygold butter and a bit of salad for me tonight. In about 6 hours.

    It's fuckin' 30 degrees here!! Time to dust off the fan..

    Ooh and for pudding - Toffee and Fudge yoghurt from Lidl!!

    I need to start putting on the weight i lost.

    Pro Tip:

    Use Italian Salad Dressing instead of Mayo if youre doing chicken breasts. Poke holes in the breast with a fork and marinate in Italian Dressing for 30 minutes, then shake & bake

    Macro for frozen Lamb legs/shoulders.
    Foodland for Pork Chops, Chicken, and Beef mince.
    Naklua markets for Prawns and local Fish.
    Friendship for Salmon.
    Simple Simons or Yorkies for Sausages.

    And that about covers where the best local places are to shop for protein .

    Yes the bakery at Big C is very good, lots of choices there. Don't eat much bread these days, but normally walk to Continental or Foodmart early in the morning if I'm going to get some.
