    Method:

    Sit on arse

    Sift through menu

    Order

    Get tiddly

Have a chuckle to yourself about Mao sweating his nads off behind his slow rice cooker and mini oven with grill thinking he's a gourmet michelin starred chef

Steak is better done at home if you know a good butcher. The twice baked tater with bacon and sour cream is also nice.

snub thats a baked potato with sour cream and bacon but its not twice backed. You can still see the texture of the potato. I even whip up a plain baked more than that.

Our potatoes here contain too much moisture for a good chip or fry, but they are great for baked. Not so white, having a bit more color in it.

You'll have to forgive him. He goes to restaurants serving frozen chips.

Still, by the end of the night he'll have upgraded the Thai Airways cutlery in his gaff....

Assuming your missus is the cook, you're a very lucky chap.

Just a simple 1/2 mayo, 1/2 sour cream, blob of mustard, S+P affair, whipped up before lathering a few cooked n chopped spuds with chopped spring onion.

I believe I would go with a German type of potato salad.
    Straight forward and less heavy.

While the spuds are still warm, drizzle a hardy vinegar throughout plus freshly ground black pepper.....add scallions and shredded raw carrot to taste.

Got tonights dinner Sous-vide'ing in the slow cooker. Satay n Honey chicken wings and some ribs again, to finish off the potato salad.

BBQ ribs have about 4 hours left, will put the satay wings in with an hour to go.

One must have been raised on the foggy island to derive any sort of comfort from that vile sludge.

I add about an 1/8 cup of apple cider vinegar as well as bacon bits. Everything is better with bacon.
