OK, I didn't cook it meself, popped to the local eatery to grab a couple of shwarmers (one chicken, one 'meat') to eat while I'm watching the football...

They are very good, better than anything similar I've seen in Thailand; 80 baht each, quite big. I need a couple of beers really, but...

That looks pretty good to me...

Looks very nice, Malcy. I'd start with the chocolate cake then once finished, if still hungry, I'd have a few of those prawns...

Can you see the bowl with the steak in it ? Well it's a cheap plastic one that came free with 10,000 packets of mama noodles and is is slightly misshapen because my wife melted it in the micro ! Apologies for complete lack of any square plates . Cheers Betty we saved the cake till last and it was very good .

Just fancied a bit of beef stew tonight, thawed out some Thai steak I'd been tenderising.
Add a few Yorkshires for good measure.

This was the mother-in-law's plate, I had far too much to show!

Finally there's no more family or friends due in town and after packing a bit of pork on, it's time to stop getting pissed and eating junk food. Again.

So dinner tonight was a simple 250gr steak and salad with chili-garlic mayo. Boring as all fuck, I know
