About 2 hours I will pop this pizza in. Double cheese, onions, mushroom, and sausage. Some Cajun chicken wings as well.

The kids are on Koh Tao doing a PADI scuba course with their school, the wife worked late last night so I could cook up my steak sandwich. Some nice rib eye, mushrooms and onion, onion gravy on a toasted garlic roll.

One close up, perhaps to close.

Forgot to buy bloody gravy.. So dashed some maggi on there. Didn't think until I was washing up that I should have thrown all the juices in the pan over it. That's the same as gravy, right ?
Other things I learned, do the potatoes before the lamb and brocolli before sprouts

No gravy? Eating that would be a race against time surely before it dries up completely.

It's almost easy... Boiled veg water = stock, added gradually to juices of the meat plus a little butter then a sprinkle of flour, stir constantly to your thickness liking - keep on a hot heat but do not boil. Dash of oregano & worcester or HP or even Vegemite will give the taste an edge, but sparingly! It'll take a few dinners to get it right but surprisingly it's quite a rich taste.

Always do the gravy in the pan you cooked the meat in.

Once you got the rmix right let it stay hot on the hob for at least 5 mins (the oregano needs to rehydrate a little) bubbling slightly, stirring, add salt, coarse ground black pepper.

    Maybe dash of tabasco?

Garlic or celery salt to taste?

    All possible future experimental options.

Some people drink and smoke to unwind, I blend gravy.

I must admit that the veggies I stir fry are usually whatevers left in the cupboard so technically they are already leftovers......

(the best excuse I could muster)
