I know, been there done that, however there is little that gives me more than a little comfort than a lamb fillet on a bed of sweet pototo mash with a decent red wine on the side.

Lamb ... a meat which has not passed my lips for many a year now.

Thais and their dislike of the smell of Lamb and all that.

You're speaking for all Thais in a very generalized matter?

I think the dislike Thais have for lamb in Thailand is because the Thai stuff that the Southerners cook is mutton and not lamb. Nothing a bit of re-education can't sort out, a lamb shank is one of the first things the misses will go for these days when eating out.

Haven't set foot in a Wetherspoons for a few years now, the one in Crewe closed down and they ain't returning. Last one I set foot in was Somtamslaps local one or x local one when I was working down in London, so was definitely 2016.

And Jacks roasties are they actually roasted.?

Then again the anal Teflers must get a giggle out of my English.

The TEFLers do enjoy correcting people's grammar, spelling and punctuation so feel free to post up some pics of how food should be done in your opinion.

Despite accusation made by a character from Molière, Vadius in LesFemmes savantes.the old canard or boutard

    "
Lestraductionssontcommelesfemmes. Lorsqu'ellessontbelles, elles ne sontpasfidèles, et lorsqu'ellessontfidèleselles ne sontpasbelles."

Translations are like women. When they are beautiful, they're unfaithful, and when they are faithful they are not beautiful.

Ah nope ... never said such thing.

Sort as the same as "Thais and their like of rice and all that."
There are probably some Thais out there who don't like rice ... but they'd be in the minority.

Sort as the same as "Thais and their dislike of suntanning"
There are probably some Thais out there who like to improve their darker skin by sun tanning... but they'd be in the minority.
