And I would do anything for love...but I won't do that!
Ok so it's longbean, cucumber, celery, sweet onion, green onion, Bell pepper, tomatoes, lime juice, garlic, ginger, oyster and fish sauce, Soy sauce, salt, pepper and mabey a crunchy Toad. I asked for one without the bones but she said it wouldn't be crunchy then. Compromises.

The jeaw ( hot sauce ) is ginger, garlic, pepper, cilantro, sugar, lime, chilli peper, fish sauce, soy sause and that's it.

    the fish.

She said the bugs don't go in the "moock no my" they will end up in some type of sauce after they are smashed to a pulp.It goes with some type of.........the fish.

    I've been called worse.

    Just kidding.....fish humor.

The Mrs said she never had the water bug eggs. Are they any good? I've had the ant egg soup but never the water bugs. I'll give it a go though. It's mostly psychological I've learned. You are Thai then? Most others may avoid such table fare. Peace out, the fishes.

My partner is from the East and loves all things food.

You mentioned the price of being 1 and a 1/4 which is close to the same price here as they are very much sought after and farmed for a well versed market both locally and overseas.

I'm still craving a propa vindaloo that makes ones eyes water. I'm yet to find in Bangkok so sometime this week I'll be taking matters into my own hands.

    Off trip adviser

. Because of a friends advice I tried their Vindaloo curry for takeaway. I've had it twice now, delivered, and I don't know the rest of the menu but I must say that they have 'The Best Vindaloo in Bangkok'. As an Englishman I love a very very hot Vindaloo curry, I want it to be too hot and make me suffer and sweat. Most restaurants in Bangkok don't know how to make Vindaloo very hot without taking away from the essence of the sourness of the 'Vin" usually vinegar and it's slightly fermented taste. Namuskaar has it just right leaving you with the 'Oh it's too hot feeling' that we want and still having the correct taste. Eaten with cold beer and I might as well be back in "Dear Old Blighty". Wonderful.

I was going to suggest Namuskar as well. It is the only place I have really enjoyed Indian food in Bangkok, and I have tried many over the years.

However is it still open or has it moved? Last time I was down in Bangkok I popped along to Sukhumvit Soi 8 and found the restaurant was not where it used to be
