That looks like an economy seat airline meal Nev.
Any pics of the missus dressed up in Air Asia garb?
Late Late brunch 3pm after early exercise, a Warrior win and the Bisbing St Pierre fight. Filled me right up.
Yesterdays spaghetti got me thinking.. perhaps i can do better (yes i know i'm using a jar)
...toss the jarred sauce over your shoulder: a little garlic, 1/2 kg of fresh tomatoes and 2 tablespoons of olive oil and you've got a tasty gravy for your pasta...add a little chopped fresh herb for added interest and some parmesan and your meal is free of preservatives and manufactured nastiness...10 minutes...btw, Paragon Supermarket is having a sale on canned Prego...it's in the pet food section...
Majestically enthroned amid the vulgar herd
Pricy for a food court, but very nice quality.
Fancied some Indian food last night so braved the post holiday traffic madness and walked to a local veggie Indian cafe.
Had a nice buttery Aloo and a spicy paneer madras with fresh naans. It's a booze free establishment so went for cold water- how exciting! Curries were great, could have been served a little hotter but that is a small quibble. Naans were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
...and then I blended it with onions (shallots would have been better), garlic, galangal, lemongrass and dried chilies to make a paste.
I'd shelled out on some Aussie beef ribs and did a quite un-Thai thing of searing them before cooking for extra flavour.
And we're off!
I overdid the tamarind and would use fewer cloves next time, but it turned out well tasty. Then again, what massaman isn't?
Nice, although the finished product doesnt look like the kinda massaman ive seen before
I made myself a lamb and veg dinner
This is the massaman I'm used to....
Is that a lamp shade you're eating off?
