Did that spoon used for the soup at least get a lick clean before becoming the dessert spoon? You missed the handle.

^KT Please let us know if they were any good, assuming you haven't had them before and already know that. Anyway thanks for posting that pic, it was a good reminder to get a pack put of the freezer myself that will also be breakfast with some eggs on the side. I haven't tried these yet, but their beef sausages are ok (for Thailand) so fingers crossed.

It's been a sore spot for me since day 1 in Thailand, no bastard can make a decent sausage despite all of them claiming to be Master Butchers . You'd throw these fucking things at them in most any Western country...

^I didn't look around wanted some cider to put in the fridge. Gert noticed the durian but at that price she can just look but not touch.

Try the variety of Isaan sausages some time, HW.
Almost always better than any Euro-type sausage....especially, when one is limited to frozen processed imports.

I've eaten them while in Isaan, and Mrs Worx brings them home from the local markets occasionally. No thanks.

Not knocking this (even though it's something that I would personally not eat), but I have a family member over, who after what I told him what it was, described it as...

"Boiled pork in bath water, some kind of omelette pizza, overcut chips that aren't chips and a funny looking ketchup that probably tastes spicy.

Can't please them all I suppose?

Just passing the message on. Green on the way form me BTW.

    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

indeed geff, I often buy the Lao style Luang Prabang sausages in Vientiane they are great, her indoors has an aunty living in Luang Prabang and she always brings me a kilo or 2 when she visits, they are even better. Maybe I'm getting less fussy but still hard to find a decent banger in Lao also.

Curious looking little bleeders aren't they Boggle?

    Come on KT, what gives?

    Pork crackling?

    Corrugated cardboard wedges?

Or simply, as the great Boggle ventures, over cut chips that aren't chips?

Your public wish to know the deets (as they say in Shoreditch).

    ^^Indian tourist toe nail clippings.

Or fresh pasta filled with minced pork, mushrooms, garlic deep fried until crispy.
The soup was Tom Yam pork ribs served with a spicy omelette.
