^ You enterprising lads.. onya.. selling pies and stuff..

Really good to see brave Farang in Thailand doing creative stuff outside of teaching.
*Not that I have anything against teachers.

I guess brave is the wrong word... but you get my drift.

For the last couple of months, M'Sahib has enjoyed playing with her new multi section steaming pot. Today she concocted a dish of seasoned minced pork, finely diced carrot, onion and garlic, fried in a pan then wrapped into blanched cabbage leaves to form small parcels. These were then steamed and served with a sprinkling of fried chopped garlic and fresh coriander, with a spicy/pepper sauce as a dip. Really good, I was impressed.

The plates look a bit small though. Can you go back for refills?

And how much did the food cost you?

Eat as much as you want, it's a good Sunday carvery option and has been popular for many years. Cost is a touch over 400 baht from memory, it's good value. Dill will correct this if its wrong once a forklift gets him back to his computer desk .

I am indeed. Irony is that M'Sahib whilst not being strictly vegetarian, doesn't eat meat at all, only occasionally fish and seafood. Doesn't have a problem cooking meat for me though.

Yep. I ate there once. Enjoyed it. Worth the money.
