I think I'll continue to add tomato puree and let reduce rather than peeing into it..

Onion pakora, chicken 65, Chettinad lamb, lamb biryani, butter chicken etc etc
There really is nothing in the world like British food.

I was gagging for a curry after working my way through Senorita's meals on wheels so I went for my favourite, Tandoori.
I did my pea protein pump but I overdid it a bit so this is popeye curry. I think I might go back to a batch with no pea protein next time as it does impact the flavour.
No sooner had I done it than Senorita appeared with another food drop. This one was air-dropped, resulting in minor damage to the B-17 undercarriage, but it does come with a tiny 1/48 scale repair ground crew with bomb trolley so no worries.
I gave Senorita a plate of curry so I am closer to end of the batch and I can squeeze in 1 of her meals on wheels on the way. She also brought a mysterious jar of garlic honey that she made herself. I have ever heard of such a thing. It has an interesting taste.
Warm your winter cockles by my fire my dear.
She also brought my Christmas present 5 months early. Mickey Mouse Christmas pyjamas and a toasty tartan dressing gown. It felt quite seasonal in the dark midwinter down under.
It is made by the same poovster that made the slippers she gave me last year. Peter Alexander.
But thankfully the pyjama box does not say 'Thank you for inviting me into your hearts ...and your bedrooms. Peter x' as the tag on the slippers did.
That fire on the operation platform sure looks exciting, I hope ignition went as planned and having found a well mown landing strip you were parked in the front docking area.

Very nice Loops!
I made a butter chicken and tikka Massala fusion curry tonight, went down well for the masses.
Personally I would have preferred it to have been as spicy as a Vindaloo...now there's a thought.
Pics on the other channel.
Top tip for the hungry curry wallah in a hurry:
If you don't have quite enough rice left for a curry bed and don't want to wait 20 minutes just augment it with a handful of frozen peas
Nobody seems to do that ‘curry bed’ thing in countries where curries are ‘native’.
It always reminds me of the ‘Vesta’ curries my dad ate after getting home from work late - the dried ones in a box.
Beef Rendang,
Paste; red onion, lemon grass. galangal, ginger, garlic, cumin, star anise, carriander, clove, cinnamon and roasted red chili with coconut milk and kerisik
I used to much onion and coconut milk, it took hours of recution in the final cook
In with 2 Kgs of a mix of braising steak and shin of beef together with kafir lime and soaked tamarind
No, you'll have to wait til i defrost some as i forgot to take pic but it came off well, deep brown and thick just like Willy pool bulders.
^good effort and a timely bump Mike
Time to get curried after a few months off
I decided to leave the pea protein out as it diminished the punch of the chillies
Switched up my serving game to a kind of hybrid bowl/plate with steeper sides. Flat plates are a PITA for scooping up rice.
Clay slow cooker - 6 hours
Cans/Jars - No.

^^^Quite a pro effort there Eddie
Katie is kicking off much ado about coconut milk in t'other thread which has got my noggin in a tiz
But the alternative is double cream and I doubt that is any healthier
Kicking 2025 off in the right direction with some lantern chillis in the Tandoori
Batch that bad boy for 12-14 dinners which includes the last of the Christmas smoked ham chopped in along with all the usual chicken for a protein punch
No little separate side serving bowls in sight here.
I am a washing up minimalist
Lantern Chilli's!
Not too much heat to send you into cardiac arrest but enough to add a nice kick.
