The wife knocked up this Lao rice dish which is my absolute favourite of all rice dishes. It's called nem khao and started of looking like a scotch egg,deep fried I got a bollocking for eating one with si racha . The end product is the rice strangely sour taste but bloody addictive spring onions and fried garlic and chili but not over powering. Apparently it gets the crispiness from the rice being deep fried in breadcrumbs first. .no meat in there at all but there should be if I had my way
