For me, a rich and creamy tomato and basil soup, along with the last of the previous batch of baguettes, chopped and turned into parmesan croutons.



and for M'Sahib, a leek and potato soup with a couple of the bread rolls I made the other day. She garnished it with a solitary crouton .

Far from it. I make the croutons quite crispy, whereas she prefers the 'dunking' quality of bread rolls. However, she eats the croutons like biscuits as I've just discovered that the airtight box I was keeping them in is empty!

Something simple and easy, a cottage pie from the freezer, and a butter roll from yesterday's batch.

We went to a supposedly American style BBQ place today....soupy mac and cheese with pulled pork along with a plate of ribs. We won't be back.

Late chopper means one more lunch.

Was out for a punjaaabbbi last night, so got some samosa takeaway for ze fridge.

The author shares my enthusiasm. I loved this in lao but had tottally forgotten about it much to my surprise her indoors produced it a few weeks ago and I was blown away how good it was. Today she made it again I'm.grinning like a large Alsatian. Always thought rice was kinda boring and just a filler for starvin marvins. But this stuff is the bollocks. Happy days
