Pulled a box of what I thought was bolognaise from the freezer this morning, turns out it was a minced pork stew kind of thing. No matter, a spoonful of tomato paste gave it the richness of a bolognaise. I'd already started making some tagliatelle, and as it was only me having it, didn't bother with the pasta machine.
Divided into two pieces, with each rolled out and trimmed to make the lengths uniform.
Hung on a rack to dry slightly.
When cooked, a little thicker than a machine would have made, but still good.
Liberal dose of fresh parmesan....

The last couple of bread rolls from a previous batch out of the freezer, so went for an almost BLT. Almost, though pickled carrot and radish instead of lettuce, sliced pork instead of bacon, and homemade Sriracha sauce instead of tomato for that desirable 2 hour burn in the esophagus. Nearly though.

I went a bit rogue/council today and knocked up some roti calzones.
Onion Roti
Frozen grated Italian cheese (defrosted at the source)
CP ham
Hellman’s Mayo
Sriracha Tabasco.
Not bad, actually.

^ That's nice Dirk!
I show some of the pictures to my wife and in a few days almost identical meals turn up in front of me.
Dirk's last offering is definitely going to be duplicated.![]()
I was expecting pelters for that one to be honest.
I'll add peas next time.
Turns out it’s a thing.
And I’m doing it wrong.

Prefer the Bombay Bad Boy myself, it's seriously hot!!
^ I've got 90 minutes before a gym sesh and was gonna do a chicken breast with salad, but I could have just been swayed.
Sour cream and onion Lay.
You reckon adding cheese, ham, lettuce, tomato would take away some of the culinary intricacies?
Perhaps just cheese and ham?
Can't talk, I'm currently bench pressing 200kg.
Built it with ham, cheese, and a slightly out of date jalapeno salsa.
Lay's now come with 10% more air.
Su. Poib.
Going back to make another one. Seriously.![]()
