Today’s rethugs, dumber than dumb. Fact!
And yet again I will start off with the GOPs War on Women,….
Senate Democrats are rebuffing House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-OH) push for bicameral negotiations to finalize the Violence Against Women Act, exercising their clout to demand the House pass their expanded bipartisan version.
On Monday, Boehner appointed eight members to an unformed conference committee: Reps. Sandy Adams (R-FL), Mary Bono Mack (R-CA), Trey Gowdy (R-SC), Nan Hayworth (R-NY), Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) and Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX).
A senior Senate Democratic aide dismissed Boehner’s move.
“This shows that Boehner is clearly feeling the heat from women’s groups after having passed a bill that leaves millions of women in the LGBT, tribal, and immigration communities out. He is in an unsustainable spot and Democrats know it,” the aide said. “Moving forward means House Republicans dropping their opposition to including these groups in a final bill.”: Dems Show Their Spine On ‘Violence Against Women Act’
Rethugs showing us how to right things in their state,…….

Rick Scott (R), and other Republicans for using "shameless" tactics that suppress voting rights, including requiring photo IDs, preventing felons from voting and purging voter rolls.: Charlie Crist blasts Rick Scott’s ‘unconscionable’ voter suppression tactics

Stupid, stupid, stupid,……..
Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey on Thursday argued that guns should not be regulated after the massacre that killed 12 and wounded 58 in Colorado because the suspect could have “taken a car and driven it into a school bus” — and firearm restrictions would be like taking away football scholarships to punish a school for misconduct.: Dick Armey: Don’t control guns because cars can kill people too
The clown show continues,………
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) on Friday refused to condemn Rep. Michele Bachmann’s (R-MN) suggestion that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff, Huma Abedin, had infiltrated the U.S. government on behalf of radical Islamists in the Muslim Brotherhood.: Cantor defends Bachmann: Anti-Muslim witch hunt is ‘about security’

No wonder rethugs don’t like education,………they are not good with science,……..
Inhofe's No. 1 myth, according to Sanders, is that "real scientists" say global warming is a hoax. In fact, the scientific consensus is nearly unanimous. "Global warming is unequivocal and primarily human-induced," according to the United States Global Change Research Program, which is made up of scientists at NASA, the Environmental Protection Agency and the departments of defense, agriculture, energy, state, health, transportation, commerce, and interior.
The U.S. National Academy of Sciences and academies in Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom all say "the need for urgent action to address climate change is now indisputable."
Moreover, 18 scientific professional societies including the American Geophysical Union, the American Chemical Society, and others say "climate change is occurring, and rigorous scientific research demonstrates that the greenhouse gases emitted by human activities are the primary driver."
"The bottom line,' Sanders said, "is that when Senator Inhofe says global warming is a hoax, he is just dead wrong according to the vast majority of climate scientists.": Global Warming is Real - Newsroom: Bernie Sanders - U.S. Senator for Vermont
And GOP’s War on Women, ending on a good note with the help of some compassionate republicans………..
Score one for the ladies!
Recently, Governor Nikki Haley (R-SC) took an ax to the state’s budget, hacking away a whopping $67.5 million from that budget, including funds for teacher pay raises, funding for the arts, and $450,000 for the state’s non-profit rape crisis centers:’
She cut more than $400,000 used to help pay for the state’s network of 23 domestic violence and rape crisis centers. In her veto message, she angered supporters by calling that portion of the budget — which also included money for people with sickle cell anemia, kidney disease and hemophilia — a distraction from the state’s larger mission of providing public health care.
She made matters worse when, in a Facebook post, she referred to rape crisis centers as a special interest.
In the vote to restore funding for the crisis centers, the South Carolina House voted unanimously, 111-0, to reinstate the funding. And lawmakers had some stern words for the governor:
“Of all the vetoes that need to be overridden, this is the most important one,” said Republican Senator Jake Knotts, voicing support for the rape crisis centers. ”Victims of assault, women and children, are the ones who need the most help. It’s money well-spent,” he said.: War on Women Update: Arizona Sued, Haley Vetoed and North Carolina Scores
