Your source is hardly an obama fan page. If you ask me, it looks like the whole post was just someone's creative fiction.

If Romney manages to win, IMO it will be the first time the white house has been bought. The legacy of Citizen's United.

over the last several weeks i have read a couple of articles which state that this will be the last national election that the GOP has a chance of winning by concentrating on the white vote. if they haven't changed their positions on minority issues by 2016 they'll have absolutely no chance of winning.

oh, the main stream media is liberal!
oh, the polls are biased towards democrats!
oh, the moderator in the debate favored obama!

    boo fvcking hoo!

and if the president is re-elected, you just know they'll be screaming about voter fraud.... without any evidence that it influenced the outcome of the election.

professional victims, the lot of them.

You gotta be blind, dumb and stupid not to recognize those three points are rock-solid true.

The Press is proven to be liberal - has been for eons.
The majority of the polls are slanted to Obama's favor - that's a given.
Creepy Crowley not biased in favor of Obama? That's a good one!

Fox News 'Hate' section - that's a good one. Got one of them linky-poos to substantiate that?

Meanwhile, let's talk about what's being refered to as a tax deduction change, 'cafeteria style':

TAX DEDUCTION REFORM, CAFETERIA STYLE: Romney’s plan to lower tax rates while simultaneously capping deductions is truly brilliant, though little understood.

"It would operate essentially as a cafeteria plan, where taxpayers get a certain maximum dollar amount of deductions– say, $17,000– and then are allowed to select from a variety of deductions up to the maximum amount.

This is brilliant because it allows each taxpayer to take those deductions he needs/wants the most. For those who own expensive homes or multiple homes, they could use the mortgage interest deduction (up to the maximum limit). For others– perhaps those who rent–other deductions would be prioritized, such as those for student loans, medical expenses, or business expenses.

Not only is this cafeteria-style plan individually customizable and flexible, it avoids the nasty politics typically associated with any attempt to reform deductions. In all other reform efforts, special interests/lobbyists have screamed about the consequences of reducing or eliminating their own deductions. Romney’s cafeteria approach avoids these screaming fests, for the simple reason that no existing deduction would be targeted for reduction or elimination.

It is a win, win approach for everyone. Brilliant.

and why is he proposing that?

So that he can give a whopping 20% tax give-away to the richest Americans - cash, off the top. Some how the average American is supposed to be happy to get a cafeteria plan?

Watch the slight of hand, and this one is not so slight. This plan is the biggest American rip-off proposed in a long time.

They should call it what it is, "wealth-fare" for the ultra-rich.

He also wants to eliminate the estate tax - another classic give-away to the ultra-rich.

But I guess you will be one of those who will benefit ???

    where dogma meets fear-mongering.

I truly appreciate the romanticized accounts of the American Revolution. It's interesting that the Republicans never, never mention that without France, the United States would never have come to being. They also never mention the fact that the basis for the American constitution and republic shares the same intellectual roots at the French Republic's.

Santorum is a creep and a freak, but at least he is a sincere one. He genuinely believes the crap he spouts and is willing to stand by his word it even if it may be unpopular or draw ridicule.

If he was the GOP nominee the electorate would know what he stands for. Who the hell knows what Romney stands for and which Romney will be Prez if he wins?

Romney stands for that which the person with the money stands for. That will be the president he becomes should he be elected.

If he is elected, it will be the first time the White House has been bought outright by big money... It is an unhappy time for democracy in America.

one republican that doesn't have a future any longer: Greg Peterson, Utah Fundraiser And Accused Rapist Commits Suicide

A Utah Republican fundraiser charged with sexually assaulting women he met online committed suicide on Tuesday, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill said Greg Peterson died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the very same Heber, Utah cabin where he hosted political events and allegedly raped at least two of his five alleged victims.

I fail to see how those will be 'fun facts' in five days time.
Nate Silver now has Obama at a slightly over 80% chance, 303 votes in the Electoral College. Of course, probably just libbie bias.

starting tomorrow morning there's going to be a civil war within the republican party over the next few years.

tonight they lost MO and IN senate seats because the radicals in the party forced tea party nut jobs onto the ballot....and now they don't have a chance at retaking the senate.

if the republicans had put up moderately conservative candidates it would likely be a very different story.

shit's going to hit the fan.

    interesting fact:

republicans have only won presidential elections twice since 1992

    both by GWB

and both by only one state (2000 FL, 2004 OH)

and now what is the GOP going to do with the tea party radicals and the changing demographics in the nation?

how are they ever going to win a presidential or senate election in a swing state that puts up a tea party radical?
