Calling out others on what they post is not what I do. I post my opinion on the overall situation mostly and rarely use links to other sources all of which have varying levels of truth.
My position on this war has been consistent from day one.
Russia's invasion was a completely unjustified act.
Killing of civilians is a war crime.
Although I hope the Ukraine can liberate all Russian occupied territory, I don't think they will for many reasons.
"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect,"
Lots has been going on in Ukraine of late, and it is mostly bad for the ruzzians. They are taking massive casualties again, just like they did in Bakhmut attempting to storm Avdiivka. ATACAMS are wreaking havoc on ruzzian ADA in southern Ukraine and Crimea, proving that it is ineffective against western missiles.
The claims posted above about "massive" Ukrainian AF losses are totally fake and made up, and not one shred of proof will be posted to prove any of those claims. The ruzzian MOD has a history of claiming massive Ukrainian losses after they get hit hard, like they have been of late. Once again thanks Joe Biden for ATACAMS the cigarette that smokes you.
I saw on Oryx today that there were more Leopard losses with 2A4 and 2A6 now both up to 10 apiece. Unfortunately, Oryx doesn't show location or dates.
The reported losses suffered by Ukraine are much fewer than those of the Russians. However, without dates it's difficult to judge individual battle losses.
Tomak by Christmas is looking increasingly unlikely with little gained in that area recently.
Killing soldiers is not enough in this war. Land has to be recovered to keep the Western interest high.

Really ?
I didn't make it up.
The Green Comedian did:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a powerful evening address underscores the relentless spirit of Ukraine's Defence Forces against Russian aggression. "We need results every day," insists Zelenskyy, urging the forces to resist, advance, and improve positions against the occupiers continuously. Highlighting the unified determination of the Ukrainians, the President’s words echo the unyielding resolve to protect Ukraine's sovereignty and independence against any adversities, ensuring that the terror from Moscow never breaks Ukraine's spirit. The address signifies the immense national strength and global motivation inspired by Ukraine's steadfastness in these challenging times.
Have a look
(I do not post lies.......on purpose)
Oh
Sorry about that.
No offense intended
^Quite good 'interscandinavian' there
^+ ^^
Doh !
His evening addresses are televised. Your video doesn't actually show him saying that, just some narrator saying he did. You'd think it would be pretty easy to find the video of the actual address where he says it. I had a look online and it's only propaganda sources printing the supposed quote, but none with him on video saying it. Unless you have an actual link to a video of him saying it, you may actually be posting a lie helge.
Is this worth anything ?

There is an official website that contains all of his speeches. I checked the evening speech for 22 October and found the part being referred to. However, if the English translation is correct, and there is no reason to think otherwise, he is being misquoted.
I can't link from my phone, but he is wanting to keep the pressure on the Russians, whether it be an advance of 1km or just 500m.
The video of the speech follows the translation for those who speak Ukraine.
^ Just checked and yes, to quote:
"Every day, we need results for Ukraine - to withstand Russian assaults, to eliminate occupiers, and to move forward. Whether it's by a kilometer or 500m, but forwar every day to improve Ukraine positions...etc"
So it's been sensationalized a bit to make it sound like he "ordered" his troops to do it.
I think "sexed up" is the term.
Could 'urges' or even 'beg'.
. It motivates the entire world to help us.
Italy PM pranked by russian comedians
Hard to believe that her staff let her down like this.
During the prank call, Meloni vented out to the pranksters, saying that there's a lot of tiredness on all sides because of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
"The moment is approaching when everyone will understand that we need a way out," she added.
The Italian prime minister also said that Ukraine's counteroffensive to push back Russian forces is not going as expected, claiming that the efforts of Ukrainians are not paying off.
"Everyone understands that [the conflict] could last many years if we don't find a solution. The Ukrainians are doing what they have to do and we are trying to help them," shared Meloni.
Another thing that the Italian leader accidentally shared is that Italy is trying to find a way out of the war that will be acceptable for both sides without affecting international law.
She added that she already has some ideas on how to do this, but she is still waiting for the right moment to introduce them.
Our FM had the same treatment not long ago and goofed up too.
Incompetance
This article isn't going to go down well with Private Snubby, but is an assessment I would agree with...
There will be no ‘deep and beautiful breakthrough’, Ukraine’s top general admits
Ukraine’s top general has warned there will be no quick “breakthrough” in the counteroffensive against Russia, comments that will create consternation for Joe Biden as he battles to ensure the US maintains its funding for Kyiv.
In a stark assessment delivered 18-months after Vladimir Putin launched his invasion, Ukraine Gen Valery Zaluzhny said both sides had reached an effective stalemate.
Five months after Ukraine forces, with the backing of Nato arms and know-how, sought to drive back Russian forces, his troops have managed just 10 miles. “Just like in the First World War we have reached the level of technology that puts us into a stalemate,” the general told The Economist.
He said it would require a massive technological leap to break the deadlock. “There will most likely be no deep and beautiful breakthrough.” But the Kremlin has denied that the nearly two-year conflict has reached a stalemate. “No, it has not reached a deadlock,” said Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, adding: “Russia is steadily carrying out the special military operation. All the goals that were set should be fulfilled.”
General Zaluzhny said the introduction of modern sensors had made it virtually impossible for his or his enemy’s forces to advance without being detected. This was best demonstrated when the general visited the front line in Avdiivka, in the east, where Russia recently advanced hundreds of metres by plunging two new armies into the battle there. “On our monitor screens when I was there we saw 140 Russian machines ablaze – destroyed within four hours of coming within firing range of our artillery,” he said.
Russian forces lucky enough to escape the artillery barrage were hunted down by first-person-view drones as they fled. Ukrainian forces suffered similar results on attempted advances, General Zaluzhny added. General Zaluzhny said time had expired on the possibility of F-16 fighter jets, which Kyiv has been repeatedly calling for, becoming a game-changing weapon for his forces.
The American-made jets are expected to arrive in Ukraine next year, with some of the country’s pilots training on them in Romania. The general said Russian air defences had improved, making the aircrafts less effective. An experimental version of Russia’s S-400 surface-to-air missile system that can reach the skies beyond the city of Dnipro, some 60 miles from the front line, he warned.

It is estimated that while up to 70,000 Ukrainians have been killed and 100-120,000 injured, Russia’s casualties stand at an estimated 120,000 deaths. For all those deaths, Russia currently controls 20 per cent of Ukraine territory.
Gen Zaluzhny initially believed he could halt Russia “by bleeding its troops”. He added: “That was my mistake. Russia has lost at least 150,000 dead. In any other country such casualties would have stopped the war.”
The 49-year-old, known to friends as “Our Valera”, told The Economist: “Let’s be honest, it’s a feudal state where the cheapest resource is human life. And for us…the most expensive thing we have is our people.”
The comments from the general, appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian military in July 2021, will not be much celebrated in the White House. Following Russia’s invasion, Mr Biden earned plaudits for standing firm with Ukraine leader Volodymyr Zelensky, cementing the support of Nato’s other members, and encouraging nations outside the alliance to offer support and funding to its war effort.
Mr Zelensky has repeatedly resisted any calls to hand over Ukraine territory and insisted his country is involved in an existential fight.
