i would imagine anyone reading your posts objectively would at the least say you are anti brit anti usa and pro russian. There is a difference between objectivity and although you are not alone in your one eyed view, you are almost making ohoh the forum joke look objective. While I am pro Ukrainian it is due to the fact the Russians invaded another country pure and simple.
Btw I am not going to go through every invasion since the mongols with you to justify my stand as People like you have a M O that always goes down that track. Feel free to start a new thread on any one of those wars.

I'm not a Christian, so it's not of great importance to me, that the julian calendar is a bit of.

Have had no problems whatsoever with celebrating the great October Revolution in november so far.

Thanks for the heads up though

Ukrainian pilots are now on the wings in Denmark

    Søren Bruhn Kongsted

At Skrydstrup Air Base, Ukrainian pilots have taken to the skies in the F-16 fighter jets.

The pilots have just completed a basic training program in the UK, writes the British Ministry of Defense.

Thus, they are now ready to take over the cockpit of the F-16 fighter jets, which are based at Skrydstrup Air Base in Southern Jutland.

In August, the first Ukrainian soldiers arrived in Denmark. There were a total of 73 Ukrainians, eight of whom were pilots and the rest were technical and support personnel.

The training of Ukrainian soldiers is being carried out in collaboration with a number of other countries, including the UK.

'Sensitive' proposal for conscription for military service exposes Ukraine's challenge on the battlefield

A new proposal could change who can be called up for military service in Ukraine.

    https://www.dr.dk/nyheder/udland/foelsomt-forslag-om-indkaldelse-til-militaertjeneste-udstiller-ukraines-udfordrin

The age limit for conscription into military service for men is to be lowered from 27 years to 25 years in Ukraine.

This is according to a draft law published on the website of the Ukrainian Parliament yesterday.

Before the proposal can become a reality, however, it must be voted through in parliament.

But it makes sense to change the age limit, says Esben Salling Larsen, a major and military analyst at the Royal Danish Defence College.

"The war has been going on for almost two years now. They need to freshen up some of the forces that have been deployed for a long time. They also need to have enough forces to be able to continue the war for perhaps several more years, the analyst explains.

    A 'sensitive' topic

A few days ago, the Ukrainian military requested the mobilisation of around half a million additional soldiers.

It is a request that the country's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has not yet publicly supported.

The president told a press conference a few days before Christmas that more information was needed before a decision could be made to increase mobilization. The president said that "the subject is very sensitive."

Both sides need more soldiers to get some movement back. Make no mistake, even though the fronts are relatively still, many soldiers are dying.

ESBEN SALLING LARSEN, MILITARY ANALYST AT THE ROYAL DANISH DEFENCE COLLEGE
But it is important for Ukraine to get the extra soldiers if it wants to experience momentum in the war and a change of mood, Lennart Schou Jeppesen said.

He is a military analyst and teaches at the Department of Management and Organization at the Royal Danish Defence College.

"Politically, Ukraine is in a somewhat difficult situation. They are beginning to lose hope a little and the belief that you can push Russia out. Therefore, you have to resort to other means, and thus create a new hope that with more soldiers you might succeed, the analyst explains.

But it can also cause concern among the population that the limit of military conscription is being pushed.

Like Esben Salling Larsen, Lennart Schou Jeppesen says that the war could be very long, and more changes may be needed over time.

He explains that right now there is talk of a war of attrition between Russia and Ukraine. Such a war affects many different fronts such as the economy, arms production, politics and also the mobilization of soldiers.

"Such a war of attrition has no end date. If we reduce the age limit by two years, it could soon be another two years. It could end up being a really long war, he said, explaining that the Russian side is also in the process of increasing its military resources.

    Need more soldiers

It is unknown exactly how many Ukrainian soldiers are taking part in the war. But in the past, the country said it was about a million people, Reuters reported.

According to Esben Salling Larsen, attempts have been made in Ukraine to protect younger age groups from participating in the war. But you probably have to compromise on that.

He says that the fronts of the war are very still at the moment. However, there is a high level of activity, which means that more soldiers are needed to change the situation.

"Both sides need more soldiers to get some movement back. Make no mistake, even though the fronts are relatively still, many soldiers are dying. In order to be superior in several places on the front, you need more soldiers. Both sides need this if they are to go on the offensive, says Esben Salling Larsen.

Draft age was 18 when I was a lad in a war that lasted 8 years. The war in Ukraine will go on until the Ukraine no longer has the means or will to continue.

Perhaps if it loses the means, but it will never lose the will as Ukraine will cease to exist.

Air superiority is vital however large Russian civilian caualtiess may of coure garner wavering upport for teh regime and only indantry can hold territory.

In WW2 many palce were devatated and fought on, Coventry, Rotterdam to give tow famou example where my own family were involved.
Despite temprary diruption the dam buter sand fire torm in Hamburg and Tokyo didnt end the war.
USA had cash men and air power but could not crush Ho Chi Minh.

The reality the Europups led by Gerany won't conscript their kids to defend the eastern front of democracy, the lack the support of the voters, nouse guts and will. If Moldova falls it may motivare or they will wait until Putin attacks the Baltic or Poland and let USA do all the heavy lifting paying and bleeding a usual.

This reflects the failure of the EU larger richer than USA yet lacking a central budget, army and foreign policy.Imagine USA depended on Eu for its defence.

So a generation of young Ukranians may well die be maimed for life for nothing, Putin and his follwer keep Crimea, Donbas and their gains around Dnipro ad S of Kherson.

I hope next POTUS etlls the EU to payup, man up do some paying lifting and restore democracy to Crimea Donbas and such a powerful awesome defeat for Putin, capture and put on trial that regime change in Ruia become possible bring democracy to the Russian people and the border of China and N Korea!! It'ss now or never sadly Biden and US taxpayer are expected to be the world's policeman awhile Germans suck saussages , the Italian ice cream, the Frogs cheese and the Scandis each other.
