You do ofcourse have a point

    For your information:

Budanov have stated that it was indeed Ukraine, who attacked the plant.

Those crazy russians weren't shelling themselves after all

Stop lying, you silly fucker. The artillery strikes on the nuclear plant have been geolocated coming from ruzzian occupied territory. This has been gone over time and time again in this thread.

^ You may want to read Monday's edition of Kyiv Post before accusing people of lying.

I read the article and at no time does it say the Ukrainians dropped artillery on the plant. That is a lie. The shelling in and around the plant happened over many months, and the shelling has been confirmed via geolocation to have come from ruzzian held territory. Do some research, it was gone over in this thread ad nauseam over and over again.

A bunch of both. Politics as always rears it's head. Then there is the fact the spotlight has shifted to Isreal. No doubt support will continue but at a reduced amount.

Putin has got to be loving all the political shit going on in Congress and the ME.

No surprise losses are heavy. They tend to be for conducting an offense against dug in defences. 3/4 to 1 in favor of defenders as I recall.

As I have previously mentioned more than once this war is far from over and numbers matter. Time and numbers are in Russia's favor.

From ISW report for 12 October ...

Geolocated footage indicates that Russian forces have likely lost at least a battalion tactical group’s (BTG’s) worth of armored vehicles in offensive operations around Avdiivka. A reliable X (Twitter) user observed on October 12 that Ukrainian forces destroyed 33 Russian armored vehicles and 15 tanks since October 10 near Avdiivka.[10] A Ukrainian reserve officer stated that conservative estimates suggest Ukrainian forces have destroyed a minimum of 36 Russian armored vehicles including tanks, armored personnel carriers, and transport vehicles.[11] A milblogger also claimed that both sides are suffering “significant losses” in operations around Avdiivka.
Oryx isn't reporting major losses of armour on the Ukraine side, but it can take a couple of days to update for security reasons.

Ukraine used mostly artillery and fpv drones to take out the Russians, so it's very ikely Ukraine didn't have armour losses because they weren't in the battle.

AVDIIVKA AXIS /2020 UTC 14 OCT/ During heavy fighting in the vicinity of Avdiivka, UKR forces are assessed to have broken up more than a dozen RU attacks. During the last 24 hours RU losses exceeded 1,000 KIA, 26 Main Battle Tanks (MBT), 49 Infantry fighting vehicles and 44 artillery systems. A considerable portion of these losses were incurred during a series of failed attacks N, E and S of Avdiivka.

MARRAKECH (Reuters) - Ukraine is finding it harder to secure financial support as the attention of officials in key donor countries shifts to upcoming elections and geopolitical tensions heighten, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko told Reuters on Saturday.
"I see a lot of tiredness, I see a lot of weakness among our partners, they would like to forget about the war but the war is still ongoing, full-scale," Marchenko said on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank meetings in Marrakech.
He said Ukraine is making "twice the effort right now to convince our partners to provide us with support compared to the last annual meetings" in April.
As the war with Russia rages on, Ukraine needs to secure Western financial support to cover a $43 billion budget gap in 2024. Talks this week have been overshadowed by the conflict between Israel and Hamas, which broke out just as delegates were making their way to Marrakech.

Since this is in the dog house...

Putin and Biden were wrapping up a discussion.
Putin: “You know, Joe. I had this dream few days ago"
Biden: "Oh? Tell me about it.”
Putin: "I saw America in flames. A nuclear warhead crater where Capitol used to be. New York leveled. Los Angeles covered in human ash. It was glorious, Joe. I nearly teared up.”
Biden: "Huh. that's a weird dream. Well, I had one of my own few days ago as well."
    Putin: "Go on.”
Biden: "I saw Moscow brilliant again. Full of dancing, laughter, people driving imported cars. Wearing the latest designer clothes. Very European, just like it was before the sanctions. And neon signs and slogans everywhere! They were too bright to ignore!"
Putin: "What did they say, those neon signs?"
Biden: "Who the fuck knows? I don't speak Ukrainian.”
