Maybe the Russians will just pack up and go back home where they belong.

If it keeps going the way it has over the last few days, they will not have a choice.

^^ Donetsk? Mariupol? Crimea? The Russians there are living right where they belong, and it is notable that the refugees fleeing parts of Kharkiv are heading to... Russia.

Just because they speak Russian does not make them Russians. Refugees flee in all kinds of directions. They go where they have support or family. I seriously doubt the majority are going to Russia.

This thread hasn't gone well at all for sabs from the very start, but still he persists.

Is there a Russian equivalent of a glutton for punishment?

Like it or not fellas, a safe majority of the people in considerable swathes of the east and south do not want to be part of post-Maidan Ukraine. I'm all for the dispute ultimately being settled via Referenda, not bullets.

Do you have something to back up this statement? Judging by all I have read, you are not correct in your assumption.

And, the Kremlin rigs elections. Do you not believe that?

I’ve looked for any verification of floods of refugees, kilometers long at the border of Russia trying to get in. I have found nothing in the Western or Russian media.

Where did you get your info, sabang?

I read in the ukraine reddit, there are indeed queues of people wanting to get into Russia, using their freshly issued russian passports. After all there are russian speaking people some of which may feel connected to Russia. However they are refused entry, why is anybodys guess.

I guess they are by now cured of their adoration for Putin.

Whether they wanted to or not.

I cannot help feeling that this process of 'filtration' will turn into a major headache for Russia in the future and possibly even war crimes trials because these non-combatants are 'protected persons' under the Geneva Conventions.

    Jeez Kitty-

The head of Russia's administration in Kharkiv told residents to evacuate the province and flee to Russia to "save lives," TASS reported. Witnesses described traffic jams of cars with people leaving Russian-held territory.

Your fake shit narratives are played out. No one buys the horseshit you post. Putin is having his ass handed to him on a plate and this offensive is a full-fledged "thunder run" of the likes we have not seen since 2003 when the US stormed into Baghdad.

This combined arms offensive executed with precision and professionalism by the Ukrainians will go down in history as a decisive turning point in this war.

His humiliation in this thread is undeniable, and he is going to suffer more of it in the coming months as the Ukrainians continue to twist the screws on the Russians.

Oh, again? You said that when Russia only was only occupying 10% or so of Ukraine.

    'FIGHTING IS GETTING CLOSER'

A witness in Valuyki, a town in Russia's Belgorod region near the border with Ukraine, told Reuters she saw families from Kupiansk eating and sleeping in their cars along roads.
"I was at the market today and saw a lot of people from Kupiansk. They say half of the city was taken by the Ukrainian army and Russia is retreating ... the fighting is getting closer," the witness said.
Belgorod governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said officials were giving food and medical aid to people queuing at a crossing into Russia. Senator Andrey Turchak, from the pro-Kremlin United Russia party, reported more than 400 vehicles at the frontier.

You do realize that Russia has suffered its worst military defeat since WW2? Because they have, and this is far worse than the defeat they took attempting to take Kyiv. There are many more defeats coming for the Russians. You are going to continue to take this humiliation on a daily basis.

Putin is having his ass handed to him on a plate. The Russians are getting their fucking teeth kicked in.
