2000 UK Javelin anti tank missiles were delivered in January at a cost of $40k each , I suspect that supply has ran out.

Modern anti tank missiles from the west represent a threat to Putin’s illegal war, even in untrained Ukrainian hands.

Let's not forget Stingers, which Ukraine has plenty of - hence the reluctance on Putin's part to use his airforce

    Not so quick sabang ...

For a long time, China's foreign aid spending was best described in the words of Winston Churchill: "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma." The country withholds information from the public because it is considered a state secret.

Mary, finds that China spent $354.3 billion over the 15-year period from 2000 to 2014 — a figure approaching the $394.6 billion spent by the U.S. over that same time frame. In fact, China now outspends the U.S. on an annual basis.

Most of that money was directed toward private sector investments and loan agreements. For example, the China Exim Bank extended $11.5 billion in loans to the Angolan government between 2000 and 2014. Russia and Angola top the list because they are oil-rich countries and important trade partners with China.
Pakistan shares a border with China and is an important economic partner that provides geographic access to more countries in the Middle East and Asia.

Just 22 percent of (China's) total was spent on official development assistance (ODA), a technical name for what is generally called "foreign aid."
As a point of comparison, roughly 93 percent of U.S. overseas development spending counts as ODA.

Report: China Spends An Estimated $362.1 Billion On Foreign Aid ... But On What? : Goats and Soda : NPR

Russian airstrike on Ukraine military base. Base was former headquarters of Canadian and NATO military training mission. This is a real wake up call for NATO to take this more seriously. Canada's troops had already left thankfully, but is taking this seriously.

Whilie apt , it was actually a description of Russia, unlike many here you do not aim to misquote or selectively disinfrom.

For the record he added equally pertinent to todays' quagmire.

But Churchill's analysis was only part of a formula that seems as relevant now as it was then. Perhaps, he said, "there is a key" to the riddle of Russia, concluding, "That key is Russian national interest."

Antebellum c 43 million of whom 10% already under Russian thumb in Dontesk and Luhansk,Crimea is much more complex ethnically, linguistically, historically a whole other thread.

So at start f the invasion possibly 18 million Ukrainian men, only half of which of military age, let alone fitness training. These are being degraded daily and a handful of volunteers/mercenaries is not going to replace the numbers.

It is claimed already nearing 2 million refugees Westwards into EU and not counting those who gone to Moldova, Transnistria ,Turkey, Armenia, Russia and Belarus and this number may certainly increase soon as conditions worse.

America will want a long bloody European civil war it's a win win, Destroy Russian threat, economy and military by a long prolonged , profitable struggle.
EU keeps paying Russia's side of teh bill and increasingly NATO , effectively German and French economies stuffed and the Euro no longer a rival.
Break EU flooded with refugees, expensive fuels and disunity, plus massive new military budget as E Europe fears more Putin advances. Putin may try to provoke Nato, take all of Moldova, Armenia, Georgia etc

Kiev may fall , but US will finance a long protracted bleeding of Russia, Zelensky may die or flee , the entire Eastern army , slaughtered, gassed, poisoned, or deported in time honoured fashion to Siberia as a threat to the Ukrainian forces in the West, as some Red Square Maidan planned by Nuland and the neo cons. However Ukrainian exiles and their supporters will foster a resistance , cyber, economic. Thiss may lead Putin to treat them like Palestinians gradually erased from their native heath.

Interesting to see if Medvedev will to the line 100%. Lavrov is toast total lapdog.

Putin cannot win, but seems unlikely like all dictators to admit he was wrong or resign.
He will put pressure on India via Oil, China, energy and N Korea to take pressure off. We may well see action by Hezbollah or others paid by Moscow. An attack now on Taiwan or on Japan by N Korea will change the game.

The ground war will rumble on .
However brave the Ukrainian army and however well supplied ,financed it'll run out of fit men before Russia unless large numbers of mercenaries are recruited.

As snow thaws tanks will have problems as once off road it's like the Somme, as German motorized Panzer divisions discovered, until brief scorching 40 degree July-August heats, By October some areas into Winter again.

Sadly we'll see mass attempts to escape , as one the EU border Sealed the fate of civilians looks grim.
I am sure the women and children are and should be in are hearts and minds but that won't supply clean water and survival rations, let alone medicine.

We face evil, Does Putin believe Biden will actually use his nuclear arsenal is the stare down.
I fear it's going t get much worse globally due to inflation , but small inconvenience compared to those being bombed into obliteration for what?

One of the worst outcomes in addition to the rape and pillage of the world's "breadbasket" is just as Putin is humiliated POTUS Trump reprise returns to sour the world. To all those who say he cannot won, that's what folks thought last time, never underestimate the stupidity of Americans and the Democratic party fixated by guilt and identity issues.

Of course the arms dealers / makers and their bankers love a good war boosts demand for their murderous goods and increases debt dependency.

More Than 1 Million Children have Fled Ukraine Since February 24th: UNICEF

More than 1 million children have fled Ukraine since February 24: UNICEF

More than 1 million children have now fled Ukraine as war continues to ravage the country, UNICEF said on Thursday. Most have fled with their families to Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Moldova and Romania.
"The number of children on the move is staggering, an indication of how desperate the situation for children and families in Ukraine has become," said UNICEF Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia Afshan Khan. "Children are leaving everything they know behind in search of safety. This is heart-breaking."

So far, six trucks carrying nearly 70 tons of supplies have arrived to Ukraine. The supplies include personal protection equipment and medical, surgical and obstetric kits. Working with partners, UNICEF said that it will be delivering medical supplies to 22 hospitals in 5 different conflict-affected areas of Ukraine, to benefit 20,000 children and mothers.

In a press statement, the UN agency renewed its call for safe, rapid and unimpeded humanitarian access to reach populations in need, and for the safe passage of civilians to reach the services and protection to which they are entitled.

"Across the border, three trucks were dispatched from Copenhagen - UNICEF's warehouse and the largest humanitarian hub in the world - carrying essential supplies, such as early childhood development, recreational and hygiene kits. These supplies have now arrived in Poland," the UNICEF said.
Additional supplies are on their way from Copenhagen and from Turkey, and are due to arrive in the coming days, it added.

To assist children and families on the move from Ukraine to Moldova, Poland, Romania and Belarus, UNICEF has set up "Blue Dots," one-stop safe spaces that provide key information to traveling families and the ability to identify unaccompanied and separated children and ensure their protection.

Furthermore, UNICEF appealed for USD 349 million to prevent deterioration of the welfare of children in Ukraine and neighbouring countries and to enable the effective provision of critical life-saving support. This includes USD 276 million for immediate needs within Ukraine and USD 73 million in neighbouring countries.

"We're doing everything we can to help the children and families in need but the war must end. Peace is the only sustainable solution," Khan said.

    ====

This is heartbreaking...... so help out if you can.
There are many good charities like The Red Cross, Save the Children, and UNICEF that are doing as much as they can to help out.

That's because they've blurred the fact that most of it is loan sharking or bribery to get what the chinkies want out of their targets. Might be fishing rights, minerals, or simply massive white elephant construction projects that are of no benefit to the victim.

    Your link:

    https://teakdoor.com/redirect-to/?re...e%2Fa-46125199

"Germany and France said on Thursday that it appears that Russian-backed separatists in Ukraine had shot down a drone being used by the Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE) in Europe's Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM)"

    "It appears", "Separatists in Ukraine".

In English, the first indicates doubt, the second identifies a party other than Russia.

The rest o the article continues with the unverified accusations against Russian involvement.

Confirmed facts, are out there, to post here on TD.
