Threats, counter threats, sanctions, counter sanctions. It is a negative sum game ultimately, but "We" have to do something. If money is your measure, the biggest losers are 1- Ukraine, 2- Russia, 3- Europe. If lost prestige is.... it's 1- the Zelensky gov't, 2- America.

And no matter how much you windbag them, China will not be drawn into this. Why should they be? They bear no fault for this debacle, and stand to benefit.

If you have balls of iron, nerves of steel, and preferably mercury running through your veins- now is a great time to make money on financial markets. Just sabs observation.

Why should Russia be allowed to demand Ukraine not be a NATO member?
The only threat NATO is to Russia is to Putins expansion plans.

^ China isn't the immediate concern in case you've not noticed. The safety of a country and its people which you, OhOh and Socal have been laughing off is what is at stake.

You and your two mates are a disgrace. Whatever you think about past western involvement in conflicts, this is your mate Putin and its no one else who shares the blame for this. If the Russian people are so suppressed that they won't speak out on this outrage it just proves Putin as a dictator who has not moved his people beyond the time of the revolution.

What is pathetic is that you, SoCal and OhOh who have benefited from freedom of speech, free movement and earnings, are so quick to decry the system that has provided you the means of a comfortable life in retirement. Hypocritical would be a kind word but really you are just cvnts the same as Sausages.

So what would you choose if there was a referendum ? Denial of Ukraine in Nato or allow them in Nato knowing 100% that it would cause a war in Europe ?

Finland is not in Nato and not in the Russian security alliance. Denial of Ukraine in Nato would give in the same status as Finland. The horror !

BTW the US would not tolerate Mexico being in the Russian security alliance and would go to war to prevent it. Just as Russia is doing now. And if this was the Mexico war mega thread I would have said the same. Umm Russia.. Its probably not a good idea to weasel weapons into Mexico and start training an anti US military.

Taiwan has stopped all trade and export to Russia. Taiwan produces the most semiconductors in the world. Going to be tough for Russia to repair in modernize their military equipment.

It's all gonna go off, the end is nigh.
    1st it was covid
2nd it was climate change storms
    3rd WW3

I reckon we should have one big party with lots of music and ecstasy, it would sort the the world out and put everything into perspective.
