So what would you choose if there was a referendum ? Denial of Ukraine in Nato or allow them in Nato knowing 100% that it would cause a war in Europe ?

Finland is not in Nato and not in the Russian security alliance. Denial of Ukraine in Nato would give in the same status as Finland. The horror !

BTW the US would not tolerate Mexico being in the Russian security alliance and would go to war to prevent it. Just as Russia is doing now.
