No chance of failure, and it wasn't Silverstein's brains behind it either. He was just one of many, including the NY Harbour Board who profited from the demolitions.
The airliner story was a smokescreen to explain away the missile/drone strikes used to sever the tower tops at their cores and hide the first set of explosions recorded. Once the tower tops were cut, the secondary explosions recorded by Palisades, I think it was four in each tower, dismantled the rest of the core columns as the towers collapsed.
The glaring point indicated by the seismographs, is that the seismic shock waves decreased in intensity as the collapses progressed, and comparatively very little seismic disturbance occurred as a result of the towers' debris hitting the ground, the reverse of what you'd expect.
Now he's completely lost it.
