^ One could, but should probaby reconsider!
It would have to be Babe for me - by far their greatest song.
'That's A Low Bar' is mine.
^ Do you mean song or personal posting style?![]()
We had some bananas on the turn that (which?) I usually give to the chickens, but the wife had other ideas last week.
She attempted to dry them in the sun for a few days and then coated them in honey and now keeps them in the fridge.
She said that they'd make a nice snack.
I had one and it was like eating a cold, honey-flavoured slug... but of course knowing how long she'd spent on this creation I said that it was nice.
And now she's threatening to make more tomorrow.

^ Tell her you are mildly diabetic so its probably best you cut down on sugar, except for the odd trifle, ice cream, sponge pudding and jam on toast
^ Jam on toast has never really been a problem of mine...
Getting back to Norwich from Ulaanbaatar is a pain in the arse. Parents are getting older, so do like to visit when I can. Also, kinda part of my reason for relocating to somewhere more globally connected. It's not something that is pleasant cheerful to dwell on at all.

The weather has been comfortable for a few weeks, I was becoming used to it. Quite suddenly it has warmed up this afternoon. My thermometer says 36.8C right now.
Where did that come from? Is the hot season arriving already?
^ Not in Nakhon Nearly Somewhere; 27-31. It was bloody freezing at 5:20am.
My personal moan: the deaf father, paranoid schizo mother and crazy wife have been screaming at each other all day (that makes 5 people, as the mother adds a couple of extra personas into the argument)... I think I'm going to live with NPT. I'll probably ride up to him tonight.![]()
Cycling should be banned!!!
It changed in Korat yesterday Shutree... we have had 35 degrees two days running.
The most noticeable thing is that it no longer cools down to a nice temperature at night.
I hope to be offshore for March to avoid this weather, but I guess that I should come home in April for the daughter's school holidays... otherwise I'd happily stay offshore until July.

Sorry, but that looks disgusting. Make banana bread instead with rotting bananas.
36.8 F you mean, Shutree?
It is -20 C here, feels like -30... I'm sick to death of this cold weather and snow. Our bad winter started in December this year, (usually Jan), and still ongoing in Feb.
Praying for an early spring, as the groundhog did not see his shadow last week, which should be a sign of six more weeks of winter.. fingers crossed anyway.
Only the Merkin groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter. The Canuck groundhog said spring was around the corner.
Watch: US and Canada at loggerheads after groundhogs disagree
After a year dominated by American talk of making Canada the '51st state', even their respective weather-predicting groundhogs couldn't woodchuck their differences aside.
On Groundhog Day, 2 February, Pennsylvania's Punxsutawney Phil and Ontario's Wiarton Willie gave competing weather forecasts. While the Canadian woodchuck said spring was round the corner, the US hog told a crowd of thousands they'd be in for another six weeks of winter.
We've been here before: the two oracles disagreed on last year's Groundhog Day, too.
But both groundhogs can agree on one thing - getting their forecasts wrong. Phil has a success rate of just 35%, while Willie is even worse, at just 29%.

^^Yeah yeah dumb me... not sure what I was thinking..
Americans usually speak in F, but he is in Thailand.
^Yeah, hopefully spring is around the corner. Usually when they don't see their shadow, spring is around the corner.. we'll see. I blame my brain is mush due to working with Kindergarten most of the week.
