A notice came in the mail Friday which said I did not pay a traffic ticket on time. Now I owe 500 fine. Only I never got the ticket in the mail in the first place. They send all their stuff EMS and I still don’t get it.

The ticket is for running a red light….again.

I'm gonna moan about that fucking German again. The fucker was doing everyone's head in with his consistent demands of us trying to make him feel like he was in Germany where everything works. I told him.im happy for him to break the lease in febuary when his 6 month payment ends as im tired of shiese( his contracts 12) months) he declined. But it seems the fucker might of got the last laugh. A few days ago he messaged that because the neighbour is demolishing his house and building a new one then he would now like to take me up on the offer to .break his contract. I've spoken to the bloke next door( aussie miner) and he explained they wanted to do a 3 month renovate but it became apparent that the house is fucked and he decided to tear it down and build a new one.. oh well can't stop progress. He tells me it will take 12 months. Might be hard to rent it out with construction going on. If someone bobs up with an offer we would sell but it looks like I will need to drop the rent . Fuck having it sitting empty. I still.have to pay a geezer to come once a week to maintain the pool regardless of tenanted or not. Pretty sure my mother in law is over it to. The ocd kraut has been doing her head in to.
How's that for an epic moan? Perhaps zlatko will get the last laugh.?I think he will.struggle to find a place in the same area with pool.and Lao landlords willing to.put up with his shit.

The neighbour's got several properties in vientiane. I asked if he wanted to add mine to his portfolio but he's keeping his hand on his wallet for now. Fair enough. I don't know him well but know he's on the top of the food chain but savvy enough to know that it's a fickle game and the rug could be pulled from underneath one in a heartbeat. Especially when your dealing with the chinks. Anyway I'm.sure if the kraut sticks around we would have 12 months of whining from.him re dust n noise. I will lower the rent that's what I did during covid and kept it rented out. Lao people won't. They will.sit on it empty for years.

Only two more days left in the village before we return home to Munich, via a couple of days in Bangkok.

I've managed to get my three front teeth sorted out and the wife has had successful eyelid surgery to remove the old and tired look she so despises.

It's been a difficult holiday, I should have spent more time with the wife...I'm going to regret that in the months to come...
