After spending all day preparing and painting the kitchen cupboards I've changed my mind on the colour!

Sky Blue doesn't match the appliances, should have opted for gloss Black instead.

The dog doesn't help matters with his wagging tail, I have blue splashes everywhere now.

I saw a mouse in my living room this morning. At least I think it was a mouse as it was very small. I don’t know how it got in. I hate killing little creatures like that but it is unwelcome inside my house.

^ The story is, I have recently cat-proofed my yard. There was a problem with screaming feral cats fighting and shitting in the attic and around the house. I’ve put out a bird feeder since I figured they were safe from the cats now. Looks as though I have created a mouse haven. Woe is me.

For an S&M dungeon maybe a good choice, a bit severe for a kitchen. Heart of the home and all that.

^^Mouse droppings on the steps up to the side door. It’s a lot of poop for a tiny little mouse. Looks like it/they are slipping under the door I thought I had sealed so well.

I’ll set a couple of traps and put out some sticky paper before I leave the house overnight. Little mouse screams may keep me awake if I stay home.

I try and watch my language in front of the daughter... but I'm only human.

We went out this morning and it wasn't long before she was asking me, 'Dad, what's a wanker?'

Do not worry. The mice will attract snakes that will keep the numbers of mice down.

Those cats not looking so bad now eh?

There was a snake in the area large enough to eat cats. Two days ago was a smashed one meter python in the road in this village. Looks like mama python had some babies.

Remember the current law, you aren't allowed to pass a cyclist closer than 50m. Or some ridiculous distance. It might be less, I haven't driven since the new law. It was already in force when I was in UK last June and several times I was a passenger when car drivers wouldn't pass a cyclist on a single-carriageway country road, the roads weren't wide enough to pass legally.
    Ask Joe, he'll know.
