It kinda happens every year, and most of the flooding is in the same areas - mudslides causing most of the deaths, sadly. One Thai lady dies, I read.

The winter is bloody cold and goes on a long time. The spring is nice, but very short. The summer is very hot with long spells of nasty humid endless torrential rain. The Autumn is nice, but very short. About 4 months of the year are pleasant...

Be thankful for this incessant rain otherwise there would be many more clogging up the country roads.

I had never heard of anti-climb paint before. I saw a sign today and saw the paint on a drain pipe. Why didn't the sign say I'd get my hands covered in black paint! Twots!

The daily moan today is based on passing.

Most of the TD mods are, without disrespect, not the springest of chickens. In the future, as will happen to us all, they too shall pass. With no admin to mod-up new mods, just like a WWII battalion, slowly the numbers will dwindle, until one day there is just the one mod left, overburdened with the task... until it is too their day to leave this mortal coil, at which point TD becomes completely mod-less, and an absolute fucking free for all.

The aircon failed in the main room last night. No proble, I thought, we just move to the spare room. Only problem is that one failed in March and wifey forgot to tell me.

Aircon guy round this afternoon to service them both. He said he'd be here 10am, so 2pm same day is a good result.

Who's the youngest and most likely to be the One that is left?

Eddy won't last long on his diet of piss and I'm pretty sure exercise has been scientifically proven to be bad for you.

Our American contingent must have quite full arteries no matter how much salad and vegetables they pretend to serve up with their Flintstone style steaks.

The Aussies and Kiwi's aren't smart enough so are bound to succumb to some horrible accident.

YourDaddys reflux is always a worry.

katie perhaps, if she doesn't get lost on a mountain.

Another day of rain and no end in sight to this rotten spell of weather otherwise known as the British summer.

And yet you promised so much by teasing us with such a balmy June.

Even for Britain, this must be the worst July in a while?

I didn't know that you were in Korea too... Yeah, it's miserable. &, when the rain let's up for 30 mins here or there, so I can take the dog for a walk then it's horrible humid.

Yeah, 2 years or so in Seoul. I enjoyed it, even the humidity and rains of the summer.

I did spend a fair amount of the weekend eating and drinking though, so no problems with rain affecting play there.

Indeed miserable today. Nothing for it but to have the rest of yesterday's curry for brunch and I think fish and chips for tea.

No cricket to watch, no football yet, can't get out for a walk, not in the mood for a pint, just dropped my electric razor in the sink.

    Quite a few moans there.

So concerned about the aircon that I momentarily forgot about my main moan.

I left my razor blades in Germany...and my electric razor. It's been a week since I've had a shave! Never in my life have I gone longer than 3 days without a shave. I've always been a good Roman.

Finally made it to town today and bought a mach3 to deal with the uncomfortable and unsightly growth. I don't suit a beard. Good news is all our rice fields have been transplanted. Time for a few beers.

Bar today, beer garden weather all week for me.

Maybe I've just been lucky with the jet stream.

Daily moan? Yeah, I've got a runny nose, a headache that doesn't respond to neither aspirin nor paracetamol, and a scratchy cough. It's also cold and rainy.

    Meh.

    Fooking incessant rain!

There should be blackberries in the garden now, not mushrooms.
