Good luck, another once fairly good European airline that has been forced through the cost cutting mill and is off my list to every fly with again.

I just take what I'm given Mike.

Though I must admit I do prefer doing the long haul in one 11 hour flight rather than changing planes in the Middle East. That pisses me off, even if the ME carriers are better.

I'll also be flying KLM this summer because it avoids Heathrow and my mum lives 15 minutes from Bristol Airport, which makes things easy.

its not great but if i have to do it i try to select a flight with a 1.5 to 2 hours transit and then you have time for a few refreshments in the lounge

I bet they never once posted 'I usually fly economy'.

That's another observation waay too nuanced for you, you dumb baboon.

Yeah. And if you don't eat it , you have to take money out of pocket to feed yourself after. And eating in airports after a flight isn't enjoyable anyway.

So the logical thing to do is just eat the food on the plane.

My wife's cousin and her boyfriend were picked up carting a big load of meth pills. We've warned them lots of times, so have the police. Goodness knows why she went along as well.

Anyway, the haul was big enough to make the papers so I guess they'll be locked up for a while...and no I'm not going to support their three kids!

The good news is they won't be coming round our house again for quite a while.

    Ruddy hell Troy!

Can't escape the meth head madness, it seems endemic in Thai society.

Don't eat at airports either. I typically bring my own snack type foods on the plane in my backpack. I plan my flights where my layovers are a few hours. However I will find a way to enjoy a beer or cocktail.

    Not so sure

I read, right here on TD, that only 90000 or such, primary school kids, were exposed to drugs.

7 million pills, so a big ouch.

Wife knows that I'm a big softy but this is a tall order after being warned several times. The grandmother is the one who ends up with looking after the kids and she's got serious health problems due to daughter antics already. Her husband died only last year so this is getting to be too much.

As always, it's more complicated than I have posted but the kids will be taken care of. My number one priority is the grand niece with cancer. She's recovering well after a night on a mechanical ventilator. Times are tough because I'm well past my end of career but still working.

How do these go fund me pages work?

Looked out the window of my office yesterday after there was a bit of commotion and saw:

A fire had broken out at The Mid Valley Mall -didn't think much of it until we were told to evacuate . . . not because of fire fears as that was brought under control, but the TNB (electricity comp) had to shut down everything and unless we wanted to walk down the 28 floors we should leave now.
It's part of the Mid Valley Mall, one of the largest malls in the world . . . everything shut and evacuated. After far too many hours waiting outside in the heat due to all roads in and out blocked by police we were eventually allowed back.

Drove past where the fire was on the way to dinner and I'm surprised they haven't kept it shut - doesn't a fire like this affect the concrete/stability? (I have no idea)
