Bang Saray

Bang Saray is mainly a fishing village with quite a nice beach, it is about 17kms from Pattaya and all its naughty night life and about 13km from Jomtien, the next beach along from Bang Saray is Ban Amphur which is quite a nice beach with lots of food stalls selling fresh seafood.

Wat Yan or Wat Yan Sangwararam is a series of buildings and Temples set over a large area, also has nice lakes and water features and is about a 10 minute drive from Bang Saray.
Nong Nooch Gardens is worth a visit although it does charge more for foreigners to enter, it is set in large grounds, has elephants and lakes, also has a daily show which costs extra.
Viharnra Sien is a large Chinese Temple, has many statues, charges a small fee for entry.
Khao Chee Chan is a mountain with a golden Buddha image engraved into the side of it, also down the road is Silver Lake vineyard.
Sunset Village is a nice quiet sea resort set on the beach.
Hat Sai Torng or Golden Beach is a nice quiet beach with a few nice restaurants, worth a visit to watch the sun setting over the sea.
Ban Chang has 3 nice beaches and is worth a day trip, also has many Thai seafood restaurants, has a small area of bars with a couple of very good international food restaurants.
Sattahip is mainly a Thai naval town.
Koh Larn is off of the coast of Pattaya and Jomtien, has many nice beaches on the island and is worth a visit.

Restaurants & Bars in Bang Saray

Bang Saray has quite a few Thai seafood restaurants where you can choose out of tanks what you want to eat, it also has a couple of farang restaurants.
Bang Saray only being a small fishing village does have a few bars, the latest being a short time bar and restaurant called My Pitstop Bar, this is actually on the other side of Sukhumvit Road, ie traveling from Pattaya it is about 50 meters past the Bang Saray traffic lights turn left near enough opposite the petrol station and 7/11 and you will find it a short way up there on the left hand side.
