Yeah, it's the same one Bustak had, the Lumix LX3. Got it here in the states for $350.

    https://teakdoor.com/chiang-mai-forum...lumix-lx3.html
Oh yeah great thread, started looking at Lumix after that and got a TZ6, couldn't justify the LX3.

Again very nice pics, the lighting is really well balanced. I've been up in the mountains here and the lighting and colours are very similar at the moment, There's some pics I've taken that show the limits of the TZ6 with light filtering and depth, just not as dramatic as yours. Still if I take enough there's sure to be a few good one's.

There's a big 2 story ward block extension being built on at Colchester hospital costing £20 million, it's only got an expected life of 60 years!

How's that going? I was the Lead Designer on the platrooms at concept stage, left to take the job here and get back into Oil & Gas.

    Pulau Ketam

Pulau Ketam 'Crab Island' less than an hour off the coast of Port Klang, Malaysia. Less of an island than a swamp only marginally above sea level.
Website says population 6-7000 Teochew and Hokkien dialect-speaking Chinese and about 50 Malays.
This was the newest house we could find, built up from the estuary mud as they all are, must be quite a process getting the concrete etc there, high tide on a barge I guess.

and the more 'traditional' local style
