Still haven't figured how to make thb deposits on binance, asked at support and got a link to a ton of irrelevant stuff.

Alts about +34% for the 4 days, BTC around -17%.

In that time I've taken out around 50% of my BTC holdings and put them into ALTs as BTC was 55% of my total portfolio and was staying still as some of my Alts were flying.
Seems you got in at one of the right times; nice, that.

Lots of numbers there, but in % terms how much have you put in vs how much is your portfolio worth minus any cash you've withdrawn?

I totally agree with him. BTC is a poorly run piece of shit legacy technology propped up by crypto-anarchists and poorly informed get rich quick investors.

from my limited knowledge BTC is a piece o' shit - its difficult to trade on without huge costs - but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't linger on.

There's lots of stuff that has dominance even tho there being better alternatives - this keyboard QWERTY for example, Windows etc
BTC is understood in the 'normal' economy better than others so that will give it an edge for a while,

It's also the main currency used in trading pairs on all the exchanges. It certainly won't die quickly. Ironically it will prolly be all the forks that split the community and undermine the value of it. BTC will kill itself.

May well be, I don't know enough about it to dispute that, but bitcoins certainly looks like pioneer stuff that could in time mature bringing cryptos into daily use for a new generation of currencies as new applications are discovered and invented.

    ^ Ed Zachary.

BTC paved the way but it's lost its vision. Better models are already out there that actually solve or improve real-world processes. Some coins I hold I don't expect returns from for 3-5 years or maybe never. That's the reality of emerging technology.
Some people think it don't, but it be.

The total amount has returned 56.6%.

Since I first put money in less than a month ago. Though half of that money has only been put in in the last 10 days or so.

Apparently BTC has gone through 6 big enough dips this year.

It has done 3 decent climbs, then dips down around 30%, the it has gone up around 70% in 3 or so spurts, then dips again around 30%, and so on.

Some bloke I don't know was saying this on the internet using graphs and terminology I don't understand.

So just gotta wait for another 70%-ish climb, then it should dip down again by 20-30%.

So that will be around $23k usd.

When it hits that I'll watch out for the start of a dip, and it goes down 50% pretty rapidly will pull out a small amount as an experiment, then buy again on the rebound. #experimenting.

Or that could all be a load of Ol' Lulu. Who's to know.

Yes you are right. It's also where all the terrorists and criminals go to bone up on cryptos.

    Who's he?

I've no doubt there are betters out there and more to come that will eclipse btc, but btc was the first much like that guy who put on wings and jumped off a cliff.

56% is an excellent monthly return, considering the recent blitz. Keep on trucking!

All profits are somebody else's losses, after considerable exes.

BRR Jan 18, the exchange route is automatic, so didn't check or don't even know where it trades, it's a CME group product so I assume it's electronic, so it must be GLOBEX by default, nobody cares these days about the exchange, it's all ECN and Cross Brokers, dark pools shit

let me check on my account, but I assume Globex
