Could be a positive day, after a few poor ones.

From here, far from a pump and dump this looks like a dump and pump. That message was posted to shake the tree after which the price picked right up again. I expect a lot of similar scams in this relatively new market.

I wonder if "Buy on rumor, sell on news" relates also to the crypto alts?

Privacy coins like XMR and ZEC are a much better bet for the long term..

lots of coins promote themselves as privacy coins - but how many people can actually determine that ? bitcoin was originally touted as private

Monero likes to call itself the privacy coin - what audits have been done - https://steemit.com/cryptonote/@macr...tively-exposed

NAV coin fans like to go ona bout the privacy - though it seems to be flimsy - so what if it has RSA - bitcoin has ECDSA - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellipt...ture_Algorithm - means fcuk all , it just public/private keys

Zcash has zero knowledge proofs - zksnarks - but better are on the horizon , though they do incorporate new tech as it comes

which is also the point - many chains can incorporate this tech , so it is not exactly a selling point

rather depends on the rumour and the news.. when u get the news, nearly always too late/out of date.

Earl, out of all the videos you posted Alex Jones would have the most credibility among these clowns.

Every year - from 2009 they keep pushing and pushing the timeline of this supposed collapse, yet it's not happening.... not even close.

The mighty USA has such a tight grip on all your gaped asses that they even convinced you Bitcoin was not made by NSA.

That's the biggest fucking joke of all.

Interesting stuff. What it doesn't mention is what computing power is needed to do this. If it's NSA supercomputer-level I can imagine they'd have more pressing concerns cracking foreign powers transmissions than chasing down Joe Blow who orders some weed off the darkweb every month.

Was thinking about that link that Jabir posted about the bad news coming out on XVG: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurre...e_get_out_now/

Sounds like rumor to me. Not news yet.

Good point. Initially they'd be all like Enigma Code in WWII and deny they had broken it so they could catch future big targets until one day a Snowden leaks it to the world. Then cue druggies worldwide running in panicked circles.

can't help but recall that old joke about economists - "he's predicted 9 out of the last 3 recessions"

And this one too could be sort of relevant -
"There were two economists who were shipwrecked on a desert island. They had no money but over the next three years they made millions of dollars selling their hats to each other."

    Except there's no hat!

He's been pretty accurate regarding the crypto currencies.

The fiat currency confidence/robery game is on the wane.

This time next year BTC will be very likely 100k.

For sure the cryptography came from the NSA, but the cat is out of the bag. The only way to kill this cat is to turn off the internet, that ain't gonna happen.

Clif High was a fancy microsoft tech guy for years...

Julian Assange was forced into the Bitcoin world very early on, when the USA arbitrarily froze him out of the financial system. He's thanking them now!
