From here, far from a pump and dump this looks like a dump and pump. That message was posted to shake the tree after which the price picked right up again. I expect a lot of similar scams in this relatively new market.

I wonder if "Buy on rumor, sell on news" relates also to the crypto alts?

Zcash has zero knowledge proofs - zksnarks - but better are on the horizon , though they do incorporate new tech as it comes

which is also the point - many chains can incorporate this tech , so it is not exactly a selling point

rather depends on the rumour and the news.. when u get the news, nearly always too late/out of date.

Interesting stuff. What it doesn't mention is what computing power is needed to do this. If it's NSA supercomputer-level I can imagine they'd have more pressing concerns cracking foreign powers transmissions than chasing down Joe Blow who orders some weed off the darkweb every month.

He's been pretty accurate regarding the crypto currencies.

The fiat currency confidence/robery game is on the wane.

This time next year BTC will be very likely 100k.

For sure the cryptography came from the NSA, but the cat is out of the bag. The only way to kill this cat is to turn off the internet, that ain't gonna happen.
