I'm not going to buy any junk coins including btc, but I will buy eth on a dip (target below $500).

I think ETH is the only one that has a future.

I have just had a great idea .
I am going to buy Bitcoin when the price is low, then sell them when the price is high
Then buy them back again when the price goes down and sell them again when the price rises
Is everything as straight forward as that ?

The % charts are not much good - too much hidden in them - eg today BTC looks ordinary on the 7 day - because it was charging upwards before the fall .
Also I see you guys mentioning %age gains - if you gain 50% on 1k =1500, then lose 50% you're back to 750 - so that was a bit confusing.

I watch the charts at binance - and the buy/sell tickers - they're actually quite mesmerising - much better info but its always tempting to jump in and out as they swing about so much.

Slowly putting the pieces together so I may be a novice - and then I may even start trying to get an idea of which of the alts have longer term value - to park value there for longer.

Gotta make the losses back yet - maybe I'll be wiped out by New Year!

Me first day of the rebound wasn't that good when it came to number time.

yes, but it's good to look at that chart to keep things in perspective:



still up 4% for the week (after the rise and december dive):

also, it's worth looking (on blockfolio) at the 7 day chart (clicking on the dollar value of portfolio and changing it to bitcoins).

it will tell you how your alts have help up against the btc.

mine have held up well; so, my total bitcoin value is about the same as it was before the december drop:

I just read about it and there is a bunch of hype over it now saying it is going to be Bitcoin 2.0.

No question that BTC has to resolve some issues.

Verge is so new there don't seem to be any wallets for it.
