Thanks, I am nice. :-)
They're not bad actually. Especially for something made here. None of the chemical shite that is put into the rest of the Thai beers are in it, which of course is a great thing.
The only other one like that is the Cheers Riceberry beer that is very similar to an Irish red ale. Little fizz, no chemicals, nice smooth ale-esque taste.
We want dancers! We want dancers!
What are these rather vaguely named 'chemicals' you maintain are in other beers, and how do you know they're not in the ones you drink?
^ Oh, I wouldn't bother going into such little details, just take my facts with a nice swig of Prima Facie. :-)
So, as suspected, you're talking bollocks.
Thanks for the clarification.
Drink a few Singha, Leo, or *shudder* Chang, then some proper beers and say that the Thai shite isn't full of chemical crap.
Maybe those that drink the shit everyday have become conditioned and immune to it.
The three you mention certainly do taste like crap, but it could be down to a number of reasons.
I seriously doubt that Riceberry or Patum Tani San Mig are notably different.
If I lived in Thailand I am sure I would be drinking imported beer or craft beer too.
But, as a tourist, I love the taste of Singha. One sip in the balmy tropical air unleashes a torrent of fond memories flooding through my mind like Proust's madeleines.
You probably just mean glucose syrup
^Looks like a posh drop Bones
I thought I might slip in a cold Bishops Finger this evening while throwing Gozirra up on the big screen
My bucket list 1/48 B-17 touched down safely so the 1/72 can be relegated. It comes with jovial bomb crew just like on Masters of the Air
This is not just any old B-17 but has half the fuselage made of clear perspex so you can see all the intricate machinations going on with Buck and Bucky sitting up front
Sgt Quinn manning one of the myriad .50 cals that festoon the fortress
Harry Crosby in the Navigators room and a monster pair of 1000lbers waiting be dropped on those nasty Nazis
Loved the opening scene from Gozirra with the A6M undercarriage
But it only gets better with the fantastic Kyushu J7W Shinden prop-pusher taking the starring role
Friday it is. About 1/2 way done with my equipment/operations project move to Japan. Picked up some ingredients for some Moscow Mules tonight. Don't have a Copper mug but will be enjoyed on the balcony regardless. I think a nice steak dinner is on order tonight.
Now that's a proper mug. Holds a 500ml. Keep a few in the freezer.
I ordered a pure copper mug for future Moscow Mules. Might get next week.
Actually the mugs come in pairs. So it's 2
Actually it's a pretty refreshing bevvy. The fresh ginger and limes gives it a nice taste. Ever had one Cyrille? I mean I don't know who comes up with drink names and no idea the history but had one at a bar in BKK from a recommendation of a friend and it came in a copper mug. So why not add a few at the pool bar
Nothing worse when your on the Vladivostok vodkas and run out of cherries perhaps?
Meanwhile I've given the beer a swerve tonight and am.enjoying some ciders .
not the best cider I've ever had but at $22 Australian 375ml can and weighs in at 8.2% I consider it a good deal..in the land of over priced alcohol
He promised to headbutt me, if he ever saw me. Charming.
I guess that my solution would be that he 'never saw me'.
Cheers Stumpy!
The copper mug is sooo first world though.
Why tf  doesn't result in anything, I've never understood.
