Does look mighty posh
After falling off the Sober October bandwagon I jumped on the Stoptober one on Monday.
Now I'm scared to drink for wanting a see gar.

A conversation piece that bottle.
^^ Chitty, it aint £4.99 that's for sure!
Name the price of JPs fancy bottle of tequila in baht???
5000 baht
Over to you alcohol connoisseurs
It reminds me of a scene from Better Call Saul.
It was $125 usd. I brought it over in my cargo container. Back then conversion was about 30 bht to USD. Say about 3750 bht.
The bottle is hand painted and fired ceramic. They have a series by release date and I have a few of them.
The bold boys of the Fleet Air Arm in their trusty Swordfish enjoy a glass of Italian Prosecco to rekindle memories of the Taranto torpedo triumph and fire their loins against the fuhrer's fleet in this dramatic dioramic recreation of the ill-fated assault on the Gneisenau and Scharnhorst
But it is the Luftwaffe in their lightning fast Fw-190s who will be celebrating with their Yeleman Jagermeister before the day is done...
Six swordish crews sleep with the fishes. Better luck next time boys and rest your souls in your watery graves
Jagermeister shots dropped like a Stuka dive bomber is the only way to go Loops.
Jagermeister is evil stuff and if you are lucky enough, you will puke it out before you pass out.
^ It certainly is. A group of us always used to drink Jagermeister shots with beers on a Friday night after work in Norway, many years ago. We started at 6pm.
And that's about all I can remember from those Friday nights. Good times... I hope.
Anyway, back in the present and Korat has turned from a cider desert to an oasis for God's own drink in an otherwise hot and sweaty hell hole.
And all down to 'Korat Chef', next door to the old George and Dragon (which they have now taken over). I have no affiliation to them but they should get an award for making this damn place more favourable to a displaced wurzel. I know that Nev knows the establishment and the sadly passed on HEADHUNTER was a regular visitor also.
I also picked up a freshly baked Cornish Pasty but ate it driving back. Well, I ate the pastry part as most of the filling slopped down my front and ended on my lap.
Tonight it was Frosty Jack's and at 7.5% what's not to like?
But hang on, fukkin Birmingham? What place do the Brummies have making cider, it's a bit more refined than a pint of mild.
I hope the bed stays dry tonight.
Nice stout on the right.
The sole importer of Guinness (cans, not draught obviously) stopped importing and wholesaling them around 2010-ish.
Will have to look around online at beerlivery sites to see if any keep stout in stock and deliver, unless someone else fancies looking for me.
Are you talking about Yogi? he'll be most upset as we've been on portion control these past few days.
To be honest Stumps, I generally prefer something around 5% or less, especially if I'm out for the day. I like to drink the volume without losing control... and I'm talking holding it together, not bladder control.
Obviously I have done a 'Dil' once in a while... the last time was on the sofa, not the bed (thank goodness). But in my defense my back suddenly went, and so, simultaneously, did my bladder.
Of course the daughter doesn't appreciate the finer points of an aging body wetting the sofa which makes taking the moral high ground very difficult at times.
So what do you do in the US of A that's any better then, Snubs?
That Frosty Jack Cider is the slippery slope Mendip!
You'll be having black outs and waking up in weird positions before you know it.
I've not touch cider for over 20 years.
Three reasons..
1, I woke up in an abandoned cable car in North Wales.
2, I parked a mini metro on a hill and forgot to put on the hand brake.
3, I got chased down the road by a Chinese woman with a wok on account of shitting in her takeaway doorway
.
Halcyon times, but no need for repeating history
It's the devils drink!!
Shalom
Ang on. Twice in 4 decades shouldn't make a colloquialism. Is that the right word Cyz?
Besides, had a skinfull yesterday with Corona nightcaps and woke this morning pretty fucked up but dry as a bone, so it's definitely something in the Peroni.
That's a blast from the past, frosty Jack. Was usually sold in 2 litre plastic bottles and came with a brown bag
Out on it again today to test the Peroni theory.
Fuck fad diets.
Do you get royalties from those tins mate?
I thought this thread would be safe from having to see Mendy's toes.
I was wrong.
No, it doesn't take a teacher to answer this.
'Shame' is the correct word. You say 'twice in 4 decades', your daughter says 'every time he drinks Peroni'.
I know this since I pissed meself on the sofa after cider and my back went. Kids remember these things... you need to raise your game a bit, I reckon.
Strongbow... FFS... I missed that.
You can take the Brummie out of the wet bed...
Harsh but fair

Going back to JP's comment regarding Jagermeister... There are 56 herbs used in the medicinal liquor and its drank as an aperitif in Germany to combat coughs and the common cold.
It was actually Stumpy's Mercan brothers who improved the recipe by adding a shit load of sugar.
Bottoms up!
^ has anyone noticed the plump appearance in your adult nappy? i have to confess that my ex, a nurse fitted me with a catheter on more than one occasion and let me tell you nothing beats standing at the bar pissing yourself whilst chugging a pint
Skol... 'Bottoms up' mate!
Al fresco drinking is the way to go!
... drip... drip...
There's nothing plump about me nowadays mate, now I'm off the buses. I'm under 90kilos and into my old size 32 jeans, which eerily enough have a big piss stain towards the lower left of the crotch
Having now 'broken the seal' and now pissing like a racehorse every 5 minutes, that sounds very appealing.
Do you still have her phone number?
Maybe a pm would be wise or that Norvern deviant Joe will be all over it
