That looked like a great trip Shutree... apart from the cider. That looked well dodgy!

Last night I tried a small splash of Jura... not so much because it is a particular favourite of mine but more because it was on offer in Bristol Airport duty free. I also had a further rare bonus at BRS on Wednesday... someone had left a luggage trolley by the entrance door so I nabbed it and saved myself the 2 quid trolley hire charge. (have I ever mentioned that Bristol Airport also have machines that charge a quid to charge mobile devices... the robbing bandits). I really hate the place, but it's convenient.

I bought the whisky at Bristol Airport, despite my dislike of the place, because the flight to AMS was delayed thus making the connection tight. I didn't want to risk waiting for the greater selection available at AMS in case there was no time.

As it happened the onward flight to BKK was also delayed, so I had time to pick up a bottle of gin as well and hide it in the daughter's carry-on. Poor thing... she was already complaining about the tremendous weight of her back-pack (I'd hidden a load of fossils in the bottom) and then she also had a bottle of gin to lug about.

^The pack look pleased to see you home Mendip and Lola has blossomed. I watched the movie Dog (2022) tonight so I am tuned in. Solid 7/10 on that movie

I earned a Hook Norton -12 Days - Porter with my 20km bike test-ride today. A rustic brew with hints of mollases and oatmeal with a wet earth nose. I think I will be partaking again soon.

One of the box-head tank crew offered me a smoko and it seemed churlish to demur on a Friday. I can always cycle it off tomorrow.

. From 1997 to 2010, it was known as Bristol International Airport.[5] In 1997, a majority shareholding in the airport was sold to FirstGroup, and then in 2001 the airport was sold to a joint venture of Macquarie Bank and others. In September 2014, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan bought out Macquarie to become the sole owner.
I think that Macquire Scummy Bank owns Copenhagen Airport.

They buy airports for profits, which have to go up by 10 % every year. Minimum.

Did I mention that I think they are scum ?

    Rope !

Yes; I know who sold the airports to the parasites.

    More rope !

There was really only one answer to that question, and a bit weird it had to be asked.

    ^ Lovely jubbly...

Wife has gone to visit a sick uncle, who fell off his bike, drunk. Left me with a bottle of grand marnier and some ice...
Excellent company, along with a murder mystery...

Hope her uncle is alright. Drunk or sober, falling off a bike can be painful, sometimes. His fall must have hurt him if it prompted your wife to visit him.

Hope you enjoyed the murder mystery.

Today, she was testing a pineapple mimosa (little lime juice also).

I took a sip. It is better than an orange or a strawberry mimosa.

I'm afraid it was much worse, he died yesterday mornimg. I've known hom since I first came to the village, looked after his dad when he had liver cancer. Bloody stupid way to die.

I had never had a bad bottle from Marlborough so I was chuffed to find this in Lotutheth at B500 a bottle. Sadly, plonk of the lowest order.

Looks like you are as boring and weird in real life as you are online. What a bellend.

Anyway, Guinness for breakfast, San Miguel on the train down to Brum and I imagine Moretti in the battlecruiser while watching the return of the football.

    Come on Forest!
