Why on earth would you do that? Do you try to order English ale in a German gasthaus? You are really descending to new levels of desperation Hal.

Hey, Stumpy, are you ordering the Tito’s online or have you found a place you can walk in and buy it?

Tito’s is my vodka of choice though I must order it. Stoli comes in second but is the one I can buy in the supermarket here in a pinch.

Oddly enough MK it is now available at the Topps market. I saw it Lampang and CM. Great stuff.

Let's me say this Hal, if I was ever going to drink Gin I would definitely defer to the British contingent as it very popular in your parts.

Yeah I was quite surprised when I saw it as well MK. Grabbed up a few bottles. Have a bottle here as you saw. In the states I prefer Hangar 1 or Humboldt Distillery Vodka. Here Stoli has become quite expensive for what it is. But you work with you got. The 750ml Titos was 859 bht which isn't too bad. The 1liter Stoli is 1250 to 1350 depends on where you buy it. Grey Goose is stupid costly and again overrated as is Belvedere. both are 2000 bht+

I’ll be stopping by Tops today and stocking up. Oddly, I never look at the alcohol selection in Tops. Makes me wonder if Go Wholesale has it since they are part of Central/Top’s.

It might be possible. I think it will always be hit and miss here in Thailand on spirits and where you are. I doubt Tops in more out of the way locations will stock it because the folks probably do not know what it is and its way more then Lao Khao.

I have found it down here in Pattaya. Villa Market has it and Foodland. Haven't stopped at the big Makro but I never really go there as I do not need monster bags of food while on travel.

You are both a couple of clueless idiots. Nothing funny about homebrew, it is popular here in the states and lots of people do it. The ignorance level is astounding.

People have been brewing at home for a century or more in the UK.

Even over the second half of the twentieth century before you lot took on the mantel of being the best in the world at it.

No, I'm pretty sure that it's you 'raising the stakes' with your home grown hops that is causing the amusement.

Snubby really is the stereotypical clueless American that has absolutely no idea there is a different world beyond the borders of the US.

FWIW, many home brewing "kits" that are purchased, the person grows their own Hops and Barley. Kits vary in size and what you may want to do. I had a few buddies that did the full boat and grew their own ingredients in their backyard.

I did a kit one time. Just bought it pretty much ready and I was given options to add things like Citrus, Pine nuts etc. Options are endless.

It was fun and the beer was great but honestly was a pain in the ass. I ended up with about 4 gallons of beer and had to buy bottles to save it. I had some friends over for a BBq and we polished it off. No idea ABV but it was pretty stout.

Well after a few hours of conference calls last night, took a stroll around and then the rain unleashed as it does now and saw a bar, went in. Nice place to sit and enjoy a few pours of Buffalo Trace while I waited for the rain to clear out. To my benefit that took about 2.5 hours so I watched some GP Porsche racing and had 4. Nice pleasant way to end a day.

No this bar was attached to a hotel. No bar girls. It was just a nice quiet bar to relax.
