Started early today with Chits still asleep in the spare room - you should have seen the fat old rotter he fired into in that club last night! - so decided on a couple of the local ales to kick the day off. Very very nice.

Anyway, with my bad back I broke my unwritten rule this week and resorted to Ya Dong.

I found meself immobile, stranded, no booze and with no painkillers, so I went to the gardener's fridge...

I'll wager that I was the only person in Korat drinking Ya Dong decanted into a Serbian apricot brandy bottle (which I thought had gone out with the recycling long ago).



Hmmmmm... Ya Dong with a hint of apricot. It was so good I searched out my own shot glass and had a couple more.

Apart from a 3 hour power nap, I've just realised that Chitty, Helge and I have been on it for 8 hours today in Moscow!

Nearly three weeks now mate.

After the weekend I've had, it's much needed.

Dog died, eldest has left home for university and I posted my last will and testament to the solicitors.

My dog gave me 9 years of joy.
My eldest has a better future ahead of him and start in life than I did.

Mate that's terrible news.

Had he been sick recently?

He started having seizures which progressively worsened this past week because of a brain tumour.

He's left a whopping great hole and not the ones dogs normally dig.

Mercifully the ending was quick.

9 years we had him, he was my best friend.

Gutted.
