Butcombe is a village just north of Blagdon Lake and there is nothing gay about it. It's a man's place and a man's beer. Many years ago I had a good mate from Butcombe who I used to go ferreting with.
It's nice but I prefer the standard, traditional Butcombe bitter. Mind you, I'm pretty conservative in my tastes in all things.
Oh, and another 'Green owed' for that pic, I guess. Please can you keep track of it.
Tonight I had a night off Butcombe and tried something completely different. A first for me, and probably a last, to be honest. There was nothing wrong with it but I'll never remember the name. And I don't really know how to say it.
Where ever I go, I seem to end up drinking with dogs. I guess I just prefer their company to humans. No offense meant to anyone, of course.
Thatchers Katy.
And to finish up, a Thatchers Vintage. I can't decide if I prefer Katy or Vintage, so tomorrow I'll probably go for both again.
